$2.50 can of Cambodia beer. $9 poor loklak. Avoid the trap and don't let your tuktuks choose where you eat.

Not an elegant restaurant, but cuisine is excellent and an expression of Cambodian "homey" cuisine. Not expensive either.

We asked the tuk tuk driver where we could go to have real Cambodian food and he dropped us here. It's a traditional Khmer bamboo and wooden house. Very nicely set out. We had 2 great dishes. One was an every day dish with mushrooms and the other was the special amok fish curry. Both were delicious and presented well.... More

We arrived in Siem Reap very late at night and we were brought by our driver here to taste our first Khmer Cuisine, the driver said that this resto offers authentic Khmer food. We ordered the fish amok which was very good, we also tried the beef amok. Not bad for our first meal in Cambodia.

Like a previous reviewer we too were taken here by our driver. The location is difficult unless you know where it is. But obviously the Tuk Tuk drivers do. Initially we were the only customers and we felt awkward. Not the fault of the staff but our unease at being off the Main Street. It was completely unfounded of course.... More

This place was recommended by our tuk tuk driver after the two other places we tried to go to were closed. It was down a lane behind the night markets and up some steps in a building resembling a traditional house . It was very quiet with only two other tables of guests but the food that we ordered was... Though this predominantly serves Khmer food, they have an excellent selection of vegetarian food as well. The vegetables are local and extremely fresh. No spices, but lots of lemon grass, and galangal ginger. They serve green ginger tea which is excellent and they keep refilling. Try the food with their sticky rice or noodles. Top it off with a local... More

I saw some bad reviews about this place. I only saw them after I have already visited the restaurant. It's hard for me to do recommendation on this one but I must admit that they served nice french fries and corn dessert. The fries were served hot and fresh while the corn soup was served warm and with less taste... More

Was recommended by our Tuk Tuk driver so we gave it a go. The restaurant was very quiet with only two other tables taken. We ordered two large Cambodian beers, nice and cold. To eat we had deep fried spring rolls with a sweet n sour dip, very nice. Chicken Lok Lak and Fried chicken with cashew nuts were our... More
