Like a previous reviewer we too were taken here by our driver. The location is difficult unless you know where it is. But obviously the Tuk Tuk drivers do. Initially we were the only customers and we felt awkward. Not the fault of the staff but our unease at being off the Main Street. It was completely unfounded of course.... More

This place was recommended by our tuk tuk driver after the two other places we tried to go to were closed. It was down a lane behind the night markets and up some steps in a building resembling a traditional house . It was very quiet with only two other tables of guests but the food that we ordered was... Though this predominantly serves Khmer food, they have an excellent selection of vegetarian food as well. The vegetables are local and extremely fresh. No spices, but lots of lemon grass, and galangal ginger. They serve green ginger tea which is excellent and they keep refilling. Try the food with their sticky rice or noodles. Top it off with a local... More

I saw some bad reviews about this place. I only saw them after I have already visited the restaurant. It's hard for me to do recommendation on this one but I must admit that they served nice french fries and corn dessert. The fries were served hot and fresh while the corn soup was served warm and with less taste... More

Was recommended by our Tuk Tuk driver so we gave it a go. The restaurant was very quiet with only two other tables taken. We ordered two large Cambodian beers, nice and cold. To eat we had deep fried spring rolls with a sweet n sour dip, very nice. Chicken Lok Lak and Fried chicken with cashew nuts were our... More

We took the recommendation of our quad bike tour guide, and we were glad we did! This restaurant is fascinating. The decoration alone is worth the trip, but the food was also incredible. I would definitely recommend. It's down a tiny alley that I never would have gone down without knowing.

First, it was low season, so there was a limited menu. The two of us tried it all and washed it down with good Cambodian beer. The food is not as spicy as in Thailand and when we asked our waiter, who we had befriended by allowing him to practise his French with us, he confirmed that Kmher food is... More

It is away from the main road. Simple restaurant, similar to the ones you can see around angkor wat or kabal speen. Food is not tasty. Not worth the money.

We came here at our tuk tuk's recommendation, and like other TripAdvisor reviews claim, it's obvious he gets a kickback for it. We ordered Khmer Beef Curry and Chicken Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were okay. The curry, however, was very bland and the beef was extremely chewy. It was more like water with yellow food coloring than curry. The... More

I had the Amok Fish, which I thought was very nice and my wife had the vegetable curry, which she was not at all thrilled with. I thought the restaurant ambience was nice....rustic... The service was very good. They were very attentive and made sure the beer was nice and cold. We've been in Siem Reap for 5 nights and... More
