After a few days of Khmer food (which is all excellent) I was just in the mood for something more "western" and when I saw I could get schnitzel in Siem Reap, we just had to go. Not located in Pub Street, the area around the restaurant was very quiet, which was also a nice change. The owner greeted us... More

Down Street 26 is a real Gem. I live in Siem Reap and go to Haus Bremen on about a weekly basis. The food is tasty and a very good size. The Hunter Schnitzel with mashed potato and salad is wonderful as is the half roast chicken. Well priced, good atmosphere - nice and quiet away from the noise of... More

"Haus Bremen" has relocated to the back end of Street No.26,across the "Old Market",a street leading away from the river. This restaurant is now even more difficult to find than when it was in its previous location. Its on the left side of the street, coming from the river;the restaurant sign is partially hidden behind flowering bushes, and you have to walk down a... We enjoyed our meal at Haus Bremen. Out of the main hub of Siem Reap, which is what we like, to get out and find places that are a bit quieter and more relaxed. My wife and I both had the Schnitzel which we enjoyed. The meals are filling and come with a nice fresh salad. My only advice is... More

Found this here on trip advisor and it was close to our hotel, down a very dark road we went at 7pm and were the only customers the owner was there and was friendly and helped with the menu, he said they are short staffed at the moment so his wife, a lovely Vietnamese lady served us and also presumably... I didn't stay but had it to go. I came at 4pm, just when they opened so the place wasnt busy and the German owner attended to me. Got my food quickly after 10 minutes! And it tasted good. The order came with a side dish of potatoes and salad. Loved the salad as well. It can be hot to... More

I have to say that Haus Bremen as become a must go restaurant for me in Siem Reap. My wife and I often go there just to have a half roasted chicken... yes, half! It's so big that the 2 of us can share it! Plus a friendly welcome. Definitly a good value.

For our first and second day in siem reap, we have tried a few khmer restaurants and it would be too much for us if we had khmer cuisine again for the rest of our stays in siem reap. So, we decided to try other international cuisines and we found this german restaurant run by a friendly German and his... More

Located on street 26, this place is a bit hard to find as not many tuk-tuk drivers know it. The resturant itself is set in a big area with lots of trees. We had half a roast chicken which came with a choice of a side dish (we had the fried potatos) and a sausage dish. The chicken, although a... More

A stroll down street 26 is well worth it. Both had schnitzels and were not disappointed by the portion size. The owner is a great laugh as well.
