I tried this restaurant because in my Rogue Guide it is listed as excellent. When I went there there were only an Asian group and a Westerner, thus nearly empty. I tried the Coconut Shrimp soup and the Fish Amok. The waiter forgot to send me the beverage and I had to recall him (with so few people serving...). The... More

We found the service to be good, and the food just as good. The serving sizes are just right, the food is serviced hot, and the staff are very helpful. Nice atmosphere

This is a quiet place situated in a small lane in the centre of Siem Reap. I have eaten here frequently and always felt good about it. The menu is big and varied, food is good value and staff are very friendly and helpful. Don't expect Michelin stars but do expect a nice meal, a cold beer and good service... More

Top notch food & service. A good friend who has lived in Siem Rap for 8 years knows how opposed I am to the use of MSG, sugar, and other questionable additives in almost all local restaurants. His list of stellar places to dine out in Siem Reap is short, and For Life is deservedly on top of his list... More

We really enjoyed our meal here, the restaurant is tucked away from the bustle of pub street and the food quality was very good. It was a slow night and we got chatting with the friendly waiter who was very friendly and knowledgeable about Siem Reap. He gave us a sample of Srah sor (possibly spelled wrong but this is... More

My friend who's been living in Siem Reap for over two years brought me here. Hidden away in a small lane just off "Pub Street" this family run restaurant is a nice and quiet place to go for dinner. Food was delicious (fried pumpkin dish is a must try!) and service was great.

Happy hour Cambodian draft beer- 2 large frozen glasses for $1 to set you up for a great meal of typical Khmer food. I really liked the spicy curry with shrimp which was not too spicy, with carrots; green beans and a rich sauce with tomato and coconut and complementary rice and 3 huge prawns. We went here all 3... Tucked away in a little backstreet it was quieter than other bars and restaurants on pub street. Inside the decoration is a little dingy but it's ok and clean. We had starters including deep fried tofu and spring rolls. I had a Khmer soup which was pleasant and my husband had a club sandwich. Service was fine, food was nice.... More
