Living in Siem Reap, I have become a regular at For Life. Many expats eat there as well, as they know they will get good food at very reasonable prices. Good selection of Western and Khmer food. The staff and the manager are also friendly. The only criticism I have is that service can be a bit slow when there... More

The food was amazing, we left uncomfortably full but that's because we bought appetizers, ate a ton of the bread and then our huge steaks. The atmosphere was very fancy, so we enjoyed it. We went for our 1st anniversary, and when we got there, the staff had a booth for us waiting and a hand made "happy anniversary" card... More

Stopped there with two friends on a Sunday evening for dinner. Tucked away in a quiet alley, giving a nice reprieve from the bustle of Pub Street. Really great food, extensive menu, friendly service. We opted for the more local options and were not disappointed.

For Life was the first restaurant in Siem Reap where I tried Khmer food, and it was certainly the best, in my opinion! I am glad my friend who's been living in Siem Reap for 5 years now, brought me here. I ate Khmer food at other places in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, but none could match the delectable... More

It is tucked away in The Lane, behind Pub Street, it offers Khmer cuisine with an extensive menu at fair prices. I went there once, and ended up three times ! Food was always very good and delicious, garlic bread excellent, as well as fruit platter. The best choices I had were amok and fish salad, so tasty. Staff always... More

This is a quiet little restaurant tucked inside the night market/pub street area. They have a huge menu with great prices for traditional Cambodian food. I had the pan-fried fish, and it was delicious. Service was great too.

I go to this restaurant for comments, but I have been very disappointed. This is not one of the best Khmer restaurant that we did. And all dishes are served at the same time which is a bit irritating A room with no atmosphere, little better

Found this place via TripAdvisor. It's closer to Pub Street, but slightly away from the noise and crowds. The restaurant is quite large, but there were only a few other customers when wet went and so it lacked a little atmosphere. The battered plastic menus need updating, but don't let that put you off. The food is quite tasty and... More

As a vegetarian for over 20 years, that is one of the critical lens in which I assess a restaurant. What was great about this place is that when I asked for the pineapple and cashew nut fried rice without meat and no egg I was asked if I was a "real vegetarian." I appreciated this question because it indicated... More

We ate here for lunch two days in a row it was so good. It's in the alley by Pub Street, and is very delicious. We ate the same thing both days - fried rice with pineapple and cashews, and rice noodles with tofu and vegetables. We were able to easily communicate that we didn't eat eggs and were vegetarians....
