Enjoyable high end meal

We were curious on how a chef would prepare cambodian dishes in a set menu format. It was interesting trying different slants on items that we would not usually order. It was not the most sophisticated meal we have eaten but it was definitely enjoyable. It was good gastronomic adventure.

Very popular restaurant so must book well in advance, Khmer dishes cooked with FRench twist. Owner and chef is French. Impeccable service. All in all worthy of 1 Michellin star in my humble opinion.

We were told to visit this restaurant by a friend. Booked our resevation 2 weeks in advance. Now I know why! The food was delicous. They offer two set menus. You can either pick a 5 or 6 course meal! Every bite was just sublime. To top it off... The price was so reasonably priced! 5 star meal! Cuisine by... More

We had such a delicious meal here! There were two 6 course (with option to order only 5 courses) set menus, and I am so glad that I was there with my partner because we ordered both and enjoyed sharing every bite. The location was walking distance from our lodgings, and in a beautiful house-style building with options for both... More

Very much enjoyed the dinner here. It is a set menu but if you are happy to try different dishes and open to all things as we are you won't be disappointed. Kid friendly aswell as most places are in Siem Reap

This is a truly great restaurant. The food is amazingly good. It is creative, interesting, tasty, clever. The chef (French I believe) knows the local produce and creates two fantastic menus a week. It is the kind of inventive food that would have all the professional reviewers swoon in Europe. Wonderful.

A jewel of a restaurant. Original food, great service and excellent value for money. A must visit while in Siem Reap.

5 course Tasting Menu 2 Felt adventurous; went for frog. Greeted by the French wife owner at door. Was nice to take my order at 6:15. Came early for my reservation and was dining alone. She recommended the Tamarind Collins cocktail. Its slightly sweet with tamarind infused vodka in a tall glass topped with sparkling soda. Lovely. Amuse bouche first... More

This gem of a restaurant is not to be missed. It is owned by the French chef/hostess team of Joannes and Carole Riviere. The drinks use local ingredients and are fantastic (my husband had the ginger and pomelo martini and almost swooned it was so good). Our amuse-bouche was a perfectly cooked little pufferfish that simply melted in our mouths.... More

My friends who went to Siem Reap would always tell me that the food is not good or exciting. I realized why they said so. It is because they did not book a table here at Cuisine Wat Damnak. Trust me when I say that if you have calories or cash to spend, make sure you spend it in a... More
