Deliciously delicious

I went with my partner and had the most beautiful evening, we ordered the two different set menus and couldn't fault a thing, lovely touch at the end when the chef comes out with an amuse bouche at the end and was happy to chat with us about the food and his mad cooking skills

My solo dinner experience here left me speechless. Not only was every dish on the prix fixed menu perfect, the service was impeccable and the delicious cocktails locally-inspired! Menu changes weekly depending on what's seasonal. Splurge on this wonderful experience while you're seeing Angkor Wat - though $28 for a six course meal isn't quite a splurge by Western standards.

This was by far the best food we had at our entire stay in Siem Reap. The cocktails were extraordinary! The food delicious! Super fresh and the portions were right and the food various. Should you go to Siem Reap do not miss this place! Thank you so much for the best food during our entire stay!

I have never been so happy with the balance of flavors, course size and variation of ingredients. People expect food to be cheap in Cambodia but I never thought you could get such high quality at such an incredible piece. Cocktails are brilliant and if I wasn't drinking those the wine list looked great very well priced. The chef is... More

We really enjoyed the 6 course set menu. The dishes were creative, fresh, and provided a good contrat to the traditional Khamer fare readily available elsewhere. We also appreciated the personal touch, meeting the proprietors who respectively run the kitchen and fro t of house. The atmosphere is relaxed yet highly professional. A true hidden gem.

The restaurant is lovely and the staff friendly. The day we went was full house but we never felt it. The food was creative, fresh and exciting. Very good mix on a set menu. Would definitely go back.

Having been recommended the restaurant by Nick at Indochine Explorers, Piers and I were excited, but nothing prepared us for our best meal of 2015 so far! Inventive combinations, just the right amount of 'heat, the freshest ingredients especially the fish was tastier than we have had elsewhere. One highlight was the chef coming to the table and talking is... More

Cuisine Wat Damnak offers the finest produce and great creativity from Chef Johannes. The restaurant itself offers 2 ambiance options: modern and A/C on the ground floor and upstairs shows the more traditional side of the wooden house, which I preferred. The food presentation was amazing and it all tasted delicious. I also agree that they deserve their awards and... More

Loved everything about it. We were able to book a reservation the night before after seeing an article listing it as one of the Top 50 restaurants in Asia. We were not disappointed. And what a steal for the caliber of food.
