All the flavours of Asia in one mouthful...

We found this at No.50 on the Best in Asia list - so sought it our to complete an Asian trifecta while we were in Siem Reap after trying Gaggan (#1) and Eat Me (#25) in Bangkok... It's great. Lovely space - sophisticated, understated, lovely use of materials and colour - we sat upstairs in a kind... read more

As the menu changes weekly on a Tuesday there isn't much point in talking about individual dishes as they may not be the same. What I hope will be the same is the cooking clearly demonstrates an in depth understanding of the use and complexity of local herbs. Every dish we had leapt with local favour beautifully presented. A must... More

The chef is incredibly inspired. Do yourself a favor and reserve a seat at this impressive restaurant. The flavor combinations are out of this world. The price is unbelievably reasonable for this level of cuisine. Best meal we have had in Asia.

This restaurant is not very nice but the foods are really good. The Asian set menu has its own taste. We should try it. It is very near to where we stayed.

The layout of this place was on point. An alien environment to that of the street outside. Style and class seeped into you as you sat. The professional service and presentation of all added to this. Then, as vegans, we were unsure whether we would still receive food of the wonderful inventiveness we and heard about. We needn't have worried,... More

We were hoping to try out this highly reviewed restaurant, but when we arrived we couldn't get a seat, even though the place was completely empty. Usually I'd be fine with this, with or without explanation, but instead of simply stating that fact, a waitress and the owner silently stared down my group, as if we were a nuisance to... More

The food was decent, but nothing special about it. Only tourists come here. The prices are therefore a little higher than other places. Service is ok. Interior is ok. Food not that great, no locals here.

Revisited Cuisine Wat Damnak last week with a visiting chef friend and were excited to spy a well known 3 Michelin star chef was also dining that night - word is obviously out that this is one of the MUST TRY places in Siem Reap. Service was wonderful and they were very accommodating even though I arrived after my friends,... More

In our long journey in Cambodia, this restaurant was a key milestone: indeed, we booked even before starting the journey. Consequently, expectations were high, perhaps too much. Still want to be 'analytical': atmosphere was below my expectations, rather easy-going, with an average service (seemed more as a family business). Food was interesting, although meals were very 'aggressive' as for tastes... More

I have read the other reviews and wonder if the Chef was on holiday.during our visit on 7 Aug 2015. I have lived in Paris and also 16 years in Asia so it is with some experience that I say the flavors were all out of balance. They tried to be creative adding frog legs and beef tongue to the...
