Perfect for romantic dinner!

Road here is very dusty during the dry season, so Kanell is like an oasis when you get there. It’s nice to sit in your own hut, and you barely see or hear other customers. They regularly checked we had everything ok, and free bug spray is great bonus. We had crab ravioli and banana blossom salad... read more

Kanell offers both western and Cambodia food in an outdoor garden setting with huts and lots of privacy. It is away from town, very likely that your tuk tuk driver needs to call for directions so keep their address and number handy. Friendly owner and staffs. Amok (Cambodia dish) there was okay about average but the dessert (missing bread) was... More

We found Kanell on a day that the power had already been out for over 12 hrs, in the middle of March in 35+ degree weather, and it was a great find! Only 5$ per person to use the pool for the day, or 5$ in food and drinks. Although the food was a bit pricier it was delicious nonetheless... More

Large garden around colonial style old villa. Romantic setting at night with pavilions and lampions. Good menu with Khmer and French cuisine. Nevertheless - do not forget the traveller's rule: cook it, peel it or forget it. Had a banana flour salad - very tasty but a bit nasty to my stomach the following day..

Had a beautiful breakfast here and very keen to get back and sample more of the menu. Pool use is free with 5USD spend.

I had read great reviews of Kanell's and especially wanted a restaurant that had a gorgeous outdoor area. This was really beautiful! We had our own outdoor table and benches, surrounded by beautiful landscaping. We did make a reservation a couple days before because it was a Saturday night. We had excellent Chilean wine, satay, giner chicken, sweet and sour fish,... More

Our dinner experience could not have been nicer. The setting was amazing. The food was excellent. We even went back a second evening. The only caution is that it can be a little difficult to find, especially at night. Best bet is to find a tuk tuk operator who knows where it is located. .

The tables are set in a garden each under their own little hut so you have ultimate privacy whilst you enjoy the delicious food being served here. All the staff are extremely polite and helpful and the prices are way too affordable bot to try this place!

Our first night in Siem Reap and a perfect place for dinner, walk around the back to the lovely garden, with people dining in small thatched huts, a lovely atmosphere with swimming pool if you feel inclined. The food was very nice without being exceptional, the service pretty good. Getting a tuk-tuk back to the hotel took a little while,... More

We went to Kanell for lunch with our young daughter. We had a swim in the beautiful pool and had iced cold beers brought to us poolside. AFter a swim we walked down to the outside restaurant area and proceeded to eat the most amazing chicken Amok curry. I could say it was the best I had in Siem Reap.... More
