Description: We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.

Came across this restaurant by chance when looking for another pizza place. It looked inviting and had good choice. We had pumpin pasta to start which was delicious followed by pizza which was just as we like it. Good value house wine too. It was so good we went back a second time.

Pizzas are excellent in this very busy restaurant. Reasonable priced and a good choice. Away from all the noise for a nice change. Would recommend this restaurant.

If you have enough of rice or noodles and curries, then Il Forno is one of the best options if you crave western, Italian in particular, food in Siem Reap. We went there twice, took pizza and pasta with mushrooms and sour cream. DELICIOUS!!! Pizzas were always with nice crusty and well baked dough, proper Italian ingredients that guarantee you... More

We were looking for a good Italian restaurant, to have some decent pizza during our holiday. We found this place on Tripadvisor and decided to check it out. My husband is an Italian, so we are used to some quality italian food. In short: the pizza we had was ab-so-lu-tely AMAZING. Recommended place if you want some delicious italian food!

Went here for lunch and enjoyed my pizza and shake! Nice as set off Pub Street. Was quiet when I went but saw it busy in the evenings and lunchtimes.

I visited here expecting same 'OK' food and, as a vegetarian, the same old pasta! I've never enjoyed food so much; simply food heaven! The manager and staff were friendly and efficient, value was excellent, any type of group welcome - not formal. If you get a card from a 'tout' make sure you know where to go - it's... More

Il Forno is located right off of Pub Street. We ended up coming here two days in a row because we loved it so much. The staff is friendly and the food is great! We tried the penne arrabiata, the four cheese gnocchi and the penne with tomato sauce and all three were delicious! Try to get a seat under... More

Food here is great. We've lived in Italy and this is the real deal. Talked with the owner and he imports all the right things from Italy, so he has what he needs to prepare the right stuff. It was so good that we ate here two days in a row. Excellent both times. The location is very good; right... More

We were recommended this place by locals who said it was the best Italian in town. It's always difficult hearing this as your expectations get higher. Things didn't get off to a great start - the complimentary grissini was slightly stale and not fresh. However, this was the only downside to the night. Our calamari was fresh and tender and... More

It took me two days to find this place as it's not where the map says it is, once I found it I was not disappointed! Good service, staff and a polite owner
