Description: We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.

Great portions, fabulous flavours, excellent service, great for children! This restaurant is not sitting on its laurels - they continue to maintain an excellent standard of food and service!

We only had the pleasure of trying the pizza at this restaurant but everything on the menu looked delicious from calamari to the salads and main courses. The pizza is thin crust cooked in a wood oven and all the toppings are fresh and imported! Tasted pretty much like true Italian wood fired pizza! Go, go, go for the pizza!... More

We ordered a meatball pasta and tomato pizza. Tomato base was light and delicious. Crust was just perfect. Meatballs were tasty as were the pasta. Planning to head back for lunch tomorrow if time permits.

Lucky me. I have earned enough stars that I get to review Il Forno for a second time. I frequently travel to Siem Reap for business and always make it a point to visit Il Forno for at least one dinner. I had two Italian grandmothers, so I am very, very picky about Italia food and am almost always disappointed... More

After a very big day we went out and about looking for somewhere to eat.........after stopping and chatting to an English couple she suggested to turn left at the corner and head down the alley to this restaurant. Wow!!! What a fantastic piece of advise, our wood fired pizza and salads were fresh and delightful!!! I will be telling everyone... More

We were looking for the best italian in town. We were not sure between oasi italiana and il forno. At the end we decided to follow our guide and choose Il Forno to start. We try the Oasi the next day. Good choice of dishes, pasta and pizza Very nice pizza, good past dishes. Amazing lasagna probably one of the... More

We went here wanting a little break from the local food during a trip with friends to Siem Reap and Vietnam. The place was a little hard to find, although we finally caught the little sign pointing us down the little alley towards the restaurant from Pub Street. Overall, an excellent meal and a great menu with a ton of... More

Authentic, delicious Italian pizza and pasta at good prices. Highly recommended! If you get tired of Cambodian cuisine while in Siem Reap then this is the perfect place to go. Real thin crust Italian dough rather than pizza pie

We spent five days in Angkor, and came four times to il forno. Simply the best pizza we've had in Asia. Pasta is very good too.
