Description: We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.

Neatly tucked away from the main drag, this restaurant serves fantastic food at reasonable prices. We had asparagus bacon tagliatelle (which was so delicious!) pizza and mixed salad with mozzarella cheese on one day and returned the next day to have another special pasta of the day as well as fried calamari. All were good. A must try if you... More

It took us a little while to find this restaurant as its down a smaller street off pub street but it was worth it. The staff were quick and attentive. We had a pasta and a pizza and it felt like we were in Italy. I can't recommend this place enough. So yummy.

Having had this restaurant recommended to us, we were not disappointed at all. To cut to the chase, it was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten! Cooked to perfection, and topped with multiple delicious ingredients. My brother asked for a 'half & half', and his request was satisfied with no problem whatsoever. Whatever we asked for, we... I really enjoy this place. They have hand made pasta and delicious sauces. Their pizza is always good and they have a spicy chili olive oil for topping if you want. They also do delivery on checks over $10. Just a great all around Italian restaurant where I've never had a bad meal.

It was a nice surprise to find a good Italian food in other part of the world. Atmosphere and interior very Italian. The plus was an owner that was walking around and had small chats with guests - as I said this place is very Italian :) Big plus for the imported from Italy ingredients.

Visited here twice in my 3 nights in Cambodia. Ate here the first time after a recommendation, but it simply wasn't enough. Had the spicy pepperoni pizza and it was absolutely mouth watering. It's ruined other pizzas for me! Didn't try anything else from the menu, but with pizza that good, I wouldn't be able to bring myself to! Would... More

After spending 5 weeks in Cambodia my partner and were craving a slice of cheesy carb goodness. We ordered a large pizza to share which was more than enough for the both of us.. Pizza was delicious! I love a simple pizza that's just the right balance of everything. The place was a little frantic but we did sit down... More

As it was half marathon weekend, this place was packed with runners loading up their carbs. We were late booking for our group but they managed to squeeze us in but gave us a strict time limit. But since the kitchen could not keep up with the pace we had to overstay our welcome. But kudos to the owner who... More

A typical restaurant in a crowded area. It must go fast, and that's it italian fast food. I ordered una insalata caprese e una pizza calzone. The mozzarella on a caprese is always an indicator for the quality of used ingredients and the calzone about the pizzaiolo skills. Both failed. The cheese would be an excellent shock for a tuktuk... If you're craving authentic pizza or pasta track down this tiny bistro on a small side alley just off of Pub Street. A friend who lives in Siem Reap introduced me to this hidden spot in 2012. On this visit I was delighted to find the same reasonable prices, great food and attentive, friendly service as before. Buon appetito!
