Silk Garden is not easy to find. It's located at a very small lane. The advantage of that, it's not noisy. The food quality is quite good. Especially, the salad. If you want to find bar& restaurant that is serene, this is the place.

Tucked away in one of the alleys of Pub Street, this pub has an interesting decor - everything is made from bamboo including the small spiral staircase. Just had a drink there with a friend and the owner seemed like a very friendly French guy. Reggae music and lots of comfortable seats on the floor upstairs makes this a good... More

This bar is a lovely get away from the ones found on Pub Street. We sat upstairs in the little hideaway area which was quite.

Read the write up in lonely planet as we hunted for somewhere quiet to escape from Pub Street. I was expecting some silk banner ladened oasis, as the name suggests but no. It's like someone put a plastic tent on their patio. No ambience, and no atmosphere and a bizarre reggae theme.

The food is ok my friend surely has different taste bubs. Coz he raved about it at best it was ok. The down side for me the first visit was the wait. Place empty and took a long time just to get noticed. The real negative for me was the cat or maybe cats. Watching them pet the cat while... More

What a find! Tucked away down a lane off Pub Street, this place is the place to go if you are into a sipping on a beer while sweet reggae beats play in the back ground. Its an outside bar that looks like a tropical garden with a huge DJ booth. Looks like they have a proper live DJ playing... More
