I had a very nice dinner at the Sugar Palm. I tried a number of dishes and all were really good, the highlight was the Fish amok though - the fish curry. Just delicious. The prices were good and I enjoyed a cocktail too.

The restaurant is in a lovely setting and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing and a it's great opportunity to try some authentic kmer food. The fish amok is the best fish curry I've ever tasted. Highly recommend!

Sugar Palm is located in the heart of the Guest House District. It's housed in a traditional Khmer House with high ceilings and lots of outdoor space. The food is traditional Khmer which tends to be on the sweet side. Springs rolls were quite good and the satays were nice - but the sauce tended to be a bit heavy... More

This was a recommendation by our tour guide and indeed a very good recommendation. The restaurant is on the 2nd storey of a house, very cosy and interesting vibes! The place was crowded with many foreigners either living here or visiting. The menu was extensive with many choices and accompanied by a food list of wines including bubbly. Service was... More

I wonder I can trust Lonely's 'recommended' restaurants. When I traveled Israel earlier this year, half of the recommended ones were mediocre. This restaurant is okay but not 'dont miss' apparently. Of course, it can be a matter of preferences.

Highly recommended by a friend who writes for gourmet traveller magazine. Got the benefit of being introduced to the chef and very well looked after. Food was delicious and would go back there again without hesitation :-)

Because of you and your staffs, i never forget this restaurant. Especially, staffs in there, are there any problem? They were just staring at me when i came into there. Just staring. I know. I was just one person. Thanks to staff's behavior that day, i could learn, 'eating alone here is guilty.' I visited Siemreap 2 times, and totally... More

Very great food. Definitely recommendable It is a bit out of town - but you can easily walk! They do accept credit card but the machine didn't work when we were there.
