Good food.......but they seemed to want us to have reserved a table

We did not have a reservation which seemed to be an initial issue but they found us a table, which was nice of them. However, after sitting down to eat I noticed several empty tables that remained empty for the hour we were there so not sure what the fuss was about. Good food, good beer and a... read more

Love the food! For vegetarians, they have a good list of options. We spent our last stop in Siem Reap dining here and ended our wonderful trip with good khmer food and beautiful memories. Because of my carelessness, i left my phone at the restaurant and hurried off to catch the flight, but a kind and helpful staff rushed down... More

The ambiance was really great. It is in a nicely decorated and very cosy wooden house. The food and utensils are very well presented. Although it was full house when i went there, the tables are spaced apart from each other rather well and it don't feel crowded at all. Food is authentic Khmer food and very tasty. Definitely will... We went here because it was featured on some food shows and recommended by so many Western articles. I suppose I should have been wiser than fall for marketing. Initially I was going to take it off my to-do list but I was told Fish Amok is THE thing to have so as many have mentioned they make it the... More

Located in an obscure area, it isn't easily found from the streets as it sits one level up from ground. Service was ok, friendly and helpful enough. The food was really flavoursome and the different spices really gave a good kick to the senses. The spring rolls and the curries are a must try!

Searching for traditional Khmer amok fish? Come here and get it! We've tried different versions during the last few days here in SR but this place's fish amok was by FAR the BEST. It's steamed to give it its soufflé'd texture and the sauce its marinated in is delicious on its own to mix with rice. $7.50 (be prepared to... More

The shrimp cakes were all right, but the Khmer crispy noodles were not: the noodles were more chewy than crispy, and the pork was much moreso. It had the texture and flavour of leather. The curry was incredibly bland. The service was mediocre, starting with the owner manager greeting us by telling us they were heavily booked but they'd "fit... More

The food was good ( maybe too much coconut milk in fish amok ) , however the service really disappointed me . We were without a reservation , but they still found a table near the toilet , we gladly accepted , but when they arrived at least 3 other tables after us , without reservation , before they were... No criticisms. We all enjoyed every dish. We went back. We would return. What's not to like? The idiot system wants more words...dah, di-dah, di-dah, di-dah. It was great. What else do they want to know? Duh!
