Stumbled upon this place while out for a walk, and boy am I glad I did! My boyfriend and I ordered the prawn amok and the tofu amok. Both were easily the best food we had in Cambodia. We had no idea the chef was featured on Gordon Ramsey's show until after we returned to our hotel later that night.... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at the Sugar Palm - we arrived early for our booking, but they quickly found a table for us (despite it being really busy!) The spring rolls were absolutely delicious and we loved the Khmer Curry. We would definitely eat here again - one of our best meals in Cambodia.

+ Very nice setting, with a casual and relaxed atmosphere. + Set/tasting menu for 2 was substantial and delicious. + Attentive staff (fluent in English). - Staff forgot our coffee/tea that was included in the set/tasting menu. We could not finish all the dishes as the portions were big and it was an early dinner for us. But we liked... More

Very excited to try this restaurant having seen the chef on tv. We weren't disappointed. Great food, great drinks. Yes the fish amok is superb and so clever and the pomelo salad yummy. Hope we can return soon.

Fantastic food! Highly recommended. Bit more expensive than others in Siem Reap but well worth it! We had the chicken satay as a starter and the Khmer curry as a main, both amazing! Will definitely visit again if I am in the area.

We had the set menu for lunch and found it quite tasty. Travellers tip: definitely only need one set menu for two people (we ordered two and ended up with far too much food). Very good value at only $15 for the set menu. Not all the flavours were to my liking but I can be a bit picky with... More

I was really excited to go here but there was a wait so I got a reservation for 3 for the next day. They were very nice and had pretty goodish service. We got the eggplant, green mango salad, prawn amok, and the Khmer noodles. My mother and father liked the first two but I thought they were not great.... More

After staying in Siem Reap for 6 nights, and eating Khmer food almost every meal, I think Sugar Palm deserves some commendation. Restaurants in Siem Reap are not known for their service or spoken English, but Sugar Palm got both down. Our waiter was great, always attentive but not intrusive, and brought out things like chili, pepper, more beer, very... More
