This place was too expensive, the service was slow and inattentive, and the atmosphere was cramped and stuffy. The Khmer BBQ restaurant across the street is better and cheaper. Don't believe signs that say "The best in Siem Reap." If they have to say it...

Fun experience to cook your own food at your table. We needed a little extra help with how to cook the food but figured it out and it was delicious!

This place serves Ostrich, Kangaroo, Beef, Chicken, Crocodile, Pork, Lamb, Goat, and Fish. You grill it yourself as well as cook your vegetables. Nice experience and includes rice and noodles. There is an air conditioned area upstairs. I left my diabetic test kit there the night we visited. We went back the following day and they had found it and... More

This place is in a prime tourist location. This is the only good thing about the restaurant. I dined there with a couple of friends this weekend and half way through my meal (Tom Yum Goong) I started to feel quite sick and had to leave the restaurant early. I have been sick ever since with horrible food poisoning. It... More

Dear reviewer We are sorry you found your experience at Cambodian BBQ unsatisfactory. Just to note a few of your specific points: The on-table coal fired BBQ does produce a little extra heat and this is natural with Cambodian style BBQ, we do our best to counteract this with 47 large fans in our restaurant and additional pedestal fans on... It's fun to eat here. The ambiance is excellent, and the smell of cooked meat draws from afar. We ordered the the platter with seven different meats and the fresh spring rolls, and it was enough for two. The cocktails are decent here. It's fun watching the meat cook as the soup on the side boils with noodles in it.... More

A chance to try some meats that are very rare/expensive otherwise! Ostrich, crocodile, kangaroo, frog and snake just to name a few. It was a bit expensive compared to other Siem Reap restaurants but I guess it is an unusual experience. HINT: If you sit outside you will be hassled by beggars and kids trying to sell you stuff every... More

We ordered the 7 meat degustation course and we were satisfied with our dinner. The bbq has a moat around the hot plate where you simmer the veggies/noodles while the meat is cooked in the centre. Very delicious BBQ and the dipping sauces were amazing!

Don't go here ...they lie and cheat tourists. We stopped in for a cold beer on a hot day and ordered their 50c draft beers...after a few beers and some nibbles such as spring rolls we called for the bill which was $38 We questioned this and they had charged us $2 per beer and not the advertised 50c... They... More

Hello Sir We are sorry to hear about this mix-up. Yes there are a few restaurants in Pub Street that sell their beer at 50c (maybe 1/3rd, such as the restaurant next to ours) this is designed to lure people in for what is often average food. But it is a mistake to assume that every restaurant sells beer at... More

Snake, Croc, Ostrich you name it they probably got it! May not be the best cuts of meat but they got it. The whole BBQ cook your own thing was quite fun, a neat date idea, and well portioned. The quality of rice, noodles and veg were spot on and all tasted quite good. Unfortunately the meat, at least the... More
