Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. After two weeks traveling across SE Asia we really enjoyed our dinner at le Barrio, a simple yet excellent French owned restaurant, nestled in a lovely setting with an enchanting al fresco terrace. The staff are lovely and their escalope cordon bleu a real treat!

We went for dinner after we walked past this restaurant a few times. Great reception from the staff. Lovely menu and daily specialities Well priced, a little more than the average restaurant in Siem Reap, but then it is also different from the other restaurants. The French-inspired menu is great, and the owner was on hand to explain the menu... More

Travelling a lot around asia it's always a pleasure to come and have a diner at Barrio. Simple place but great food, good service. For all the people who just want good food in a simple place...Barrio is the one.

We wanted to treat ourselves to something other than Amok curry, noodles etc. so we decided to head to Barrio. We're glad we did as we had a wonderful evening, made better by the very attentive owner. The restaurant is set in a lovely garden, set back from the main road and at points it's possible to imagine being in... More

We booked here for Christmas day. The patron welcomed us and made sure all was well. Very good service and the food was well presented and tasty. some of the food had been imported from France. Good wine list.

We picked a table in Barrio's lovely garden and, just like last year, enjoyed the delicious French fare.

After some months in Asia, we were looking for a good and affordable french restaurant to celebrate Christmas. And we were not disappointed by Barrio ! Delicious food, from basic french dishes (poulet rôti) to most elaborate ones (snails, magret de canard). They even had fresh oysters from France for Christmas. I recommand the duck confit and the beef with... More

Had an union soup and a salad nicoise. Two starters but more than enough. Nice French ambiance, great staff and live music.

My wife and I visited Barrio for lunch a few days ago. The owner and staff were very friendly. We were the only patrons. The Pâté we ordered for our starter was ok but a little dry. Nice warm bread with it. My wife ordered scallops with orange as her next course - disappointing. I had moules mariniere - quite... More
