Good ambiance and excellent service

The service and ambiance of this restaurant makes you feel like you're in a fancy place, but the prices are really attractive. Although it's not as cheap as the many other restaurants (but still cheap), it's a place for a romantic dinner for sure!

Just a short walk from our hotel we called in for lunch and came back for dinner. Both were excellent. The light lunch, Western style, and the more substantial dinner, Khmer style, were both first-rate: Mossi coils under the tables and little portable LCD lights to illuminate the menus were thoughtful touches, the service was quiet but efficient and the... Our personal guide recommended this place and insisted on making us a reservation. Even our hotel door-man wanted to make sure we had reservations before haling a tuk-tuk. On the night we visited, however, it didn't appear that reservations would have been necessary. This is a rather pricey (but Cambodian standards) place with an upscale vibe serving Cambodian/fusion food. Everything... More

Off the beaten path on Wat Bo, but hopefully this review will take you there. A mere $1 by tuk-tuk from city center or you can walk from the Park Hyatt toward the river and it’s only one block past. Worth the short journey. Even at noon the arrangement of fans creates many cool and peaceful spots. The evenings are... More

a lovely garden courtyard setting with excellent food and service. We wanted to try Khmer food, and this restaurant offers traditional foods with a modern touch, beautifully prepared and presented. They even have some reasonable wine available, although I don't think they are so experienced with wine service. Our wine glasses were chilled, but the white wine was warm -... More

This was the first restaurant with Khmer cuisine that we tried on our five day trip and it was easily the best. It's a great place to visit for dinner when it's not too hot, and the ambiance and service are wonderful. The prices were also very reasonable. Be sure to have the Amok fish- we had it in around... From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we thought that the service was fantastic, the staff were friendly and always on hand, The surroundings are lovely with the sound of running water and the tables spaced out with enough room to give everyone their own privacy and with little candles on them making it a romantic experience.... You might be excused for thinking that in this slightly chaotic town of Siem Reap you might just find all sorts of food experience from tourist traps to exotic street food to relaxed barbecue places but you would not expect modern, inspired fine dining in a relaxed ambience... but this is exactly what the Viroth's is. It's essentially still cambodian... More
