Should be wonderful for dinner dates

I went there with my boyfriend for lunch and the service was fantastic. So far, nothing beats friendly Cambodian hospitality and although the food prices were slightly above average, the fusion Khmer cuisine here was pretty decent.

I had a few hours to kill this afternoon and feeling peckish cheeked with a friend where I might eat. I was looking for a quiet place to eat good food and enjoy reading my book. Really good menu and wine list, reasonable prices, quiet efficient service from the staff. and away from the noise that is the pub street... More

The food was not as expected. A little over hype. Ordered the mango sticky rice but the rice was a bit undercooked. The chicken was salty. Nice ambient, service staff were ok.

We went twice in two days to have Khmer cuisine. Superb food and desserts as well as pleasant smiling helpful staff. A must visit

We asked our tour guide for a restaurant with pleasant ambiance and serving both local and western dishes. He recommended Viroth's and we must say we were not disappointed. I had along my teenage daughter who is a stringent critic of restaurants and she loved her food- I think it's called chef chicken (chicken with creamy sauce). As for the... More

We stayed at Viroth's hotel for 4 nights and had one of our best meals of our visit to Siem Reap in the restaurant the first evening. I can recommend the pandan chicken and the laab (minced pork). The staff were very attentive and friendly and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Breakfasts are also pleasant, especially the poached... More

Every trip to Siem Reap, we visit Viroths for dinner and are never left disappointed. We love the Pandan chicken and the passionate fruit sodas. The staff are friendly, courteous and very attentive! The service is excellent and so is all the food on the menu. We have been to Siem Reap 17 times and consequently have tried many of... More

Viroth's is not on Pub Street, but still worth a try if you are looking for some quality local food. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal! It is more expensive, but still a good value when you consider the service, food quality, and ambience. Give it a try.. You will enjoy!

Enjoyed the food here very much on our first night here. We had the fish amok and fried chicken. Also had the banana flower salad and pandan chicken for starters and mango sticky rice as dessert. Mango sticky rice was awesome. Not many restaurants have it. Waiters very friendly and helpful. Not a long wait for food.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner. The atmosphere and set up are great. It is beautiful and romantic. We ordered the spicy chicken and vegetarian amok. The spicy chicken was really good but the amok was the worst I had on my trip. We got passionfruit drinks and they were good also. The main dishes were about $6 each... More
