This quaint little restaurant in west alley topped off our trip to Cambodia and a 6 week adventure around Se Asia . They catered for our fussy children and their spice loving parents. We couldn't have asked for better food or better service. The spicy amok balls were easily a 10 out of 10.

After struggling with finding completely vegetarian food in Siem Reap (we've had to outline any possible non-vegetarian ingredients to waiters and have even found meat in our food), we fell in love with Chamkar! We went there for lunch and dinner on the same day. The only regret was that we couldn't go again because we left Siem Reap the... More

We have eaten at Chamkar twice, and will go back again. It seems to be the only Vegetarian Restaurant in Siem Reap. We had different dishes, and they were very good, except that we prefer the curries a bit spicier.

We stumbled upon this vegetarian restaurant just behind Pub Street and can honestly say it was the most delicious food we had in Cambodia - one of the best curries I've ever had! Reasonably priced as well! Would really recommend this as a delicious and authentic veggie option.

We have fallen for this restaurant, and eaten there every day so far trying something new each time. The worst dishes we have eaten are delicious. The best dishes we have eaten are just ridiculously mouthwatering! These guys use fresh amazing ingredients - often organic, the recipes really bring out the natural delicate flavours of the ingredients. The have amazing... More

This place is excellent! We had the stirring curry, glory pot, wedding day dip and glass curry noodles. The dip was fantastic! The curries were delicious and the soup was unique and something to go back for! The staff was awesome and friendly and attentive. Go there! No Wi-fi. Quiet and off the main street with outdoor seating. But still... More

My family of five came here on a recommendation of a friend who swore this was one of the best places to eat in Siem Reap. He was right! We loved the veggie fare and even my kids liked their food. The coconut, mushroom, and cashew dip was DELICIOUS!! The angel salad was also very good. The prices are really... More

There are two Chamkar restaurants in Cambodia, We went to both, This one was amazing and the scenery was delightful. The food was excellent and the portions were adequate. as with most Cambodian places it was open air, though still very clean. The curries were delicious and the drinks cold. A collection of mismatched furniture lends an interesting touch. We... More

This place is a vegetarian foodie's heaven.... We spent a while looking at the endless options in this part of town, but this was the (a) actual vegetarian food as opposed to meat based dishes without the meat, and (b) ended up being a little bit cheaper than the rest. We had the stirring curry and the glass noodles to... More
