Used to be a fantastic place to grab a coffee and sit on the second floor overseeing the hustle bustle of Pub Street/old market but during my last visit - the food & beverages weren't up the to mark.

My wife and I have breakfast here two days in a row, because the service is good and the food excellent. The servings are reasonable, unlike the platters that contain 4000 calories. Great place to have a meal and people watch at the same time.

Do go for the stylish building and the interior, atmosphere, but not for the food and drink or overall value. About to keel over from the heat, I plopped myself down at the grand cafe at noon. Appreciated the ceiling fans, eclectic mix of jazz, bossanova, flamenco and others and the flashpacker buzz. I was unable to find the less-than-a-dollar... More

Food is over-priced and of mediocre quality. My friend had a tuna salad comprising lettuce leaves, a few small wedges of egg and tomato and enough tuna to fit on a desert spoon. At USD6 it represented terrible value. I ordered a small (0.5 L) bottle of water, expecting just a local brand. Without being asked and without realising I... More

We came here to have some 'Western food' after having eaten only Asian for a couple of weeks. However, all the Western style dishes were extremely expensive for Cambodia so most of us ended up having Satay which was five dollars (still not that cheap in comparison to a lot of other places) but tasted fine. The one steak which... More

We went to Le Grand Cafe to have some nice food. I was here six years ago and at that time it was perfect. We agreed on a menu of carpaccio with crab meat, duck and a dessert of chocolate mousse. When the food arrived the carpaccio had turned into onion soup! We told the waiter, who explained that some... More

Great music, cheap beer and cocktails, watch the world go by and escape the heat. Very friendly staff and a nice central place to be to see what's going on.

We had cocktails & snacks here after a perfect day at Angkor Wat. What a lovely character filled place! Great service & great range of exotic cocktails!

We accidentally went here on the way to Central Cafe and thought we'd drop in as we hadn't been here yet... I'm a little confused by this place. I want to like it but I can hardly think of a positive thing to write. We ordered two cocktails... Pretty sure they were just full of the ethanol alcohol thinning stuff... More
