Food is good, but the pizza is better! Old favorite pasquini's recipe. Redone and updated. Great for drinking.
We had lunch at the Black Cat. I had a cheeseburger which was cooked correctly and served with good fries. My husband had a Reuben which was also quite good. They make their own flatbread which our friend had. She said it was excellent. The atmosphere is very nice and staff helpful.
We were visiting from England and found the Black Cat by chance..We got chatting and said that we were going to New York the next day,we were given information on good places to eat in Manhattan. We found them! thanks Black Cat. we can recommend the service and the food is good too May, Sandy and Ian
Service Food everything was just Horrible. We were mislead about HappyHour. Our bar wench was definitely PMSing. She treated us so poorly. When she didn't hear our order of type of beer correctly she seemed totally mad at us? Stating she would just HAVE to pour them out. No reason to ever return.

For dinner, my wife and I both chose the Black Cat Seafood Special - $4.00 off on Friday... More
I frequent Black Cat about once a month and have watched the improvements that owner Jim Falivene has made to his establishment. A great eating area with your choice of quiet booth style or at the bar. Bartenders are excellent and will take their time to insure you have just what you want. Food has been getting better and better.... More
The food here is pretty good. I wouldn't go overboard, but it's good local fare for pretty decent prices.
