Great traditional "Chinese-Bolivian" flavor

This restaurant is a classic icon in Chinese food at Santa Cruz. The flavor is great and have not changed in years. Compared to other restaurants it is more expensive and the serving portions are smaller. The menu, atmosphere, waiters, interior design, everything is almost the same. I have to say I... read more

Some Chinese people don't like this place, saying thet the food isn't authentic, but I like it. A lot. The restaurant building is a work of art itself, always clean and with the subtle oriental music in the background. The service is great and one main dish + rice can easily feed two people. I hightly recommend it!

Good plave to have some latin-chinese cuisine, very good prices and confortable place to be. Make sure you attend early (12:01 pm) because the place gets very crowded and you'll have to wait outsside for more than 30 minutes

I'm not exaggerating. I've had Chinese food in many places around Bolivia and this is the best so far. Many friends of mine say that it's even better than Peruvian Chinese food, which is famous worldwide. The wonton is sooo good. I usually have the green pepper meat and the sweet and sour pork.

If you expect to find a good chines Restaurant in Santa Cruz forget it. Even Chifa Mandarin is not close to a Chines Restaurant. It looks like one from outside; and if you get inside (no telephone reservation; line outside the door) inside it looks like a food court, serves you have beg to serve you, and the food. Well... We eat here every week. They offer a typically wide variety of dishes which we enjoy. The service is always good if you understand that in Latin America you signal the waiter, you don´t wait for them. One of the items that we enjoy is the shrimp fried rice. It is prepared as we are accustomed to eating in the... More

Nothing special here. This placed used to be one of the best chinesse food in town, but i'm talking about years ago.. I don't know what happen? Service lacks, servers are always right not the guest. Perhaphs is time to implement new blood, chef, or fusion your cuisine. I had a deja vu been at those $9.99 al you can... More

I ordered sweet and sour pork, the meat was not fresh, like it was frozen for a long time, the sauce too thick and sweet, awkward waiters, take a long time to wait on tables, many customers complaining.looks can be deceiving,it looks a nice oriental architecture from the outside but the food and service are lousy. No tip, sorry.

The place is kind of old, but nice. Mostly families go there, since it's a classical place to go and eat some chineese food. The food itself is really good, the service though average. The sweet and sour fried pork nuggets and the spicy-sweet pork ribs are a delicious option to try.
