They've nailed the look and feel of a cafe that's comfortable to sit down and talk or browse on the free wifi. The deserts are ok, the main dishes are lackluster, and for being a coffee shop . . . Barf! I do not like the coffee at all. I've tried it so many different ways on the menu and... More

The waffles were delicious, as well as the huevos rancheros. Good strong coffee made like in the US. Pricey, but it's on the plaza and geared towards tourists, so that's what you get. Service is variable.

I went to the sucursal on Monsenor Riviero, it's place for gringos, but perfect to sit down and get some work done drinking coffee. The huevos rancheros are tasty, but a bit simple and the portion is relatively small. You can tell it's a chain.

I have been to Alexander a few times as it is conveniently located near my office. Great juices and a solid breakfast, but I have been underwhelmed by the lunches I have gotten so far. Good place to read a book or do some work on the computer.

Wi-Fi works well, otherwise just OK. To be honest for a specialised coffee house/cafe in a large city I rather hoped the expresso would be better. Actually very so-so

A hearty breakfast , a delicious lunch, a late night snack? Welcome to Alexanders, also just a coffee, milkshake or homemade cake is highly recommendable, open from 07.00 Am until midnight, always a good choice when in bolivia, and you miss your deli back at home ,

The frappes are good, but then again they are to be find anywhere in Santa Cruz. The food is nothing particular to talk about, but there are some alternatives to cakes (which is hard to find good ones). But it usually has good wifi, which is a big plus. The one at the plaza is mostly crowded by gringos, while... More

Monseñor location: During the Sunday brunch hour i sat for over forty minutes without receiving any recognition or acknowledgement of my existence. Caused by the neglect of the staff after 15 minutes of waiting i was compelled to retrieve my own menu. After deciding on a meal, getting the attention of the wait staff was equally impossible even when the... More

Halfway between a cafe and a restaurant, this place is frequented by a mix of locals and expats. It is a good option for a quick eat or for coffee&cakes, a bit less so for a full dinner. It has a nice atmosphere and the food is good, especially when you´re in search of a lighter option. All in all,... More
