Good food...most of the time

If you visit Cotonou, you can pretty much guarantee you'll eat at Livingstone at least once. They have a pretty extensive menu. It can be hit or miss, though. The dishes they do well, they do really well and the ones they don't...well, they don't. The pizza is generally good. The wait time for... read more

I visited on a Saturday and it was lively, friendly and welcoming. Predominantly a beer and pizza place for expats, I had brochettes and rice (which was good) but service was on the slow side 30+ minutes from order and I had to ask a number of time. There is football on live screens and a breezy terrace.

I went here for lunch with an expat living in Cotonou. The restaurant is in a neighborhood where lots of expats live and there are many restaurants on the same street. Their specialty seems to be pizza, which looked fine, but I didn't feel like pizza so I had a steak au poivre with a cream sauce. The steak was... More

Very friendly staff and relatively fast service. Their pizzas and steak were amazing. I've had many faux pas with pizzas in West Africa but the pizzas in this place were amazing. They are pretty large but you can opt for the "mini" for 1,000CFA less and it's still pretty decent-sized. And, this is the only place during my stay in... More

I am used to the Livingstone restaurant and recommend the awesome pizzas, the seafood dishes and meat eaters will relish the "pavé du diable". Above all, what marks the difference between The Livingstone Bar-Restaurant and other restaurants is the warmest welcome ever you can ever get from the Livingstone hosts. They do their best to make you feel comfortable and... More

A place where most Westerners hang out. Has Towers of Beer. Has really great tasting pizza. The Mexican and the American are two of the best.

Food here is pretty good and very westernized. Dishes include pizza, steaks and seafood. Many expat's meet here for drinks and dinner.
