The common man was right down the street from my inn so my husband and I as well as our new friends went there for drinks and dinner. The food is exceptional, and you'll find that not only to the tourists go there, but also the locals because this place is just so good and the service and people are... More

We had a late dinner at the Common Man restaurant. The food was quite good, the portions were generous and the service was good as well. Nice variety of items on the menu to choose from - everything from comfort food like turkey and mashed potatoes to seafood.

This restaurant as an easy walk from our Hotel. We were just in Boston for the night but very much enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and casual bar ambiance. We were glad we came early for dinner as it filled up quickly and the evening came on. Our dinner was excellant and the service was friendly and quick.

We have been here a few times and it is always wonderful as with any of the Common Man places. All of the staff are friendly and do not rush you. The complimentary cheese dips and crackers are awesome, look forward to this each time. The place is so nicely decorated and rustic. We all got burgers of different variety... More

We come here every year when we are in the area from Texas. The food and service is always good. They have a cheese and cracker bar at the entrance so you can stock up on appetizers while you wait. There is always a good crowd, but they are very efficient in their seating. Local seafood and dishes like New... More

Our Hosts at the Glynn House Inn recommended the Common Man and our food was delicious. The almost escargot was great......no snails I promise. We liked dinner so much on Friday, we went back Saturday. The turkey pot pie. could feed three people. Service was great and friendly. Definitely will go back

I visited this restaurant with my wife, Son and his family. We did not have reservations. We were told there would be a 30 to 45 minute wait. 60 minutes later we were seated. We had prime rib. Nothing to write home about. Just an average meal. The service was OK. I will try this restaurant again.

We travel very frequently to Québec from Rhode Island (almost every weekend in the summer), using I-93 in New Hampshire. Although we usually pack a supper to keep us from wasting time getting to Canada, we occasionally stop on the way for a meal. One of our favorite places (for the many years we have been doing this) to stop... More

My wife and I visited this place after a hike for a beautiful view of Squam Lake and the lakes and mountains region of NH. This is the original spot of a now fairly large group of Common Mans in NH. The facility is quaint and comfortable. We were promptly greeted and shown to a table by the windows. Our... More
