We were going to eat here but the smell of stale cooking oil from the kitchen and the empty packets of jam stuffed down the side of the booth, meant a hasty retreat.......a clean up would be good

The food was ok, but the service was some of the worst I have seen. When I walked in, a woman at the register told me to sit anywhere, so I sat at a booth directly across from the register. The woman disappeared without giving me a menu or water. I waited over 10 minutes before I got any acknowledgment... More

We ate there 2 days in a row for breakfast and we were not disappointed either time. We had a good waitress and the cooks out did their selves. I would return there.

The little town of Anaconda has a history of good eateries so any new restaurant has to be GREAT or it's going to go under. This place has been around awhile & that it is still going strong, says it all. I grew up in Anaconda, and my dad had a family restaurant that was long term and highly successful,... More

This is pretty much like a Shari's or Denny's, the log built booths are pretty cool though. The food is good average, I always ended up waiting for a long time though for service.

Travelled for three weeks in Montana and the surrounding states. Donivan's was convenient to our location, clean, and the food was reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and the food above average. I would gladly dine at such a local establishment rather than a typical chain. Home town diners are not for everyone, but I would suggest than you give... More

Okay, I'm in trouble. I really liked the place. The food was not extraordinary, but it was good. And the deco was over the top, but comfortable. Those with me were not impressed... but I liked it. I would love to go back.

Good selection of beers, and genuinely friendly bartenders. Worth a visit just to take in the splendid mirror behind the bar - reminiscent of something straight out of the old west!

Get the smeltermans half breakfast for the perfect sized meal. Excellent not greasy and the ham reminded me of my days on the ranch, yum! Coffee great, my husband loved the non greasy toast. If you love a good breakfast come here. Also a random place to buy very affordable Montana art
