Bizillion Flavor Combinations!

Ok, this is my kids favorite place in town. The snow cones are very smooth, not chunky like crushed ice - more like shave ice. They have close to a bizillion flavor combinations. Our family favorite is the Silver Fox. It's a vanilla, almondish, soft flavor that doesn't taste like heavy syrup. Cheap... read more

I am a huge fan of Ted Drewes, however the 30 minute drive to Ted Drewes has forced me to look around for alternatives. I found this place not too far from our house and was excited because of the reviews. I was very disappointed. I got a brownie concrete and it was very overmixed. The brownie bits had turned... S & J has the best concretes in St. Louis - yes, even better than Ted Drewes. There are so many flavors with more added all the time, with unique flavor combinations. The snow cones are also very popular, although I have not tried them myself. The ice cream is too good!

I'm pretty sure they add new flavored and other desserts between my visits. Their menu board keeps getting bigger too. All of the sno-cones are great; huge variety of flavors. They also have great frozen custard that can be had in sundaes and other goodies. You gotta check it out! :-)

There's a good chance that you'll never get through the list of snow cone flavors at this place in a single summer. Luckily, they've been around for over 20 summers, so take your time. The cotton candy snow cone is shockingly good. Oh, and their custard isn't half bad either. It's not as good as Ted Drewes, in my opinion,... More

Its a great place to sit (outside) and cool off with a snow cone or you can add custard to it. Great!

Yep, they really are. We live close so we frequent the place quite a bit. They have THE best custard I have ever had. My kids love their snow cones, and they can put together whatever you want. They have specialty ice cream; low fat, fat free, they have specials every week of different custards that you can't buy in... More
