We used to visit this place weekly. But recently the food is slipping, and the service is also. I am not sure, but the food supplier must have changed. The country fried steak was paper thin processed type patty which was slimy inside, and the biscuit was pre-baked and heated in the microwave. The white gravy tasted like burnt plastic... More

We "found" this place by accident today, driving from St Louis to Memphis. I pulled off the I55 as I really fancied a Roast Beef sandwich from Arby's, but when I drove down the road, we couldn't find it anywhere, but we did pass Dave's place. A couple of miles further up the road, we gave it up as a... More

Just what you would expect in a diner, juke box playing and waitress who are "crisp" but with a heart of gold. You could shoot a reality show here.

This place rocks. Now is called Dave's Dinner, it really still is eat-rite. The menu hasn't changed, the waitresses haven't changed, and the slinger at available at 2 am. Greasy onion rings, 2.80 double cheeseburgers, it's all good. Only downside is that they don't have Heinz ketchup.

In days long passed, Eat Rites were the only choice of the late night crowd, so eat there or don't eat at all.. While this is certainly not gourmet/fine dinning it is "A" rated and you get hot food quick. How about breakfast any time! I just stopped in and had my favorite, "slinger". Go try it, it'll fix you... More

Typical for a small diner. I want to go back and try something else. Limited parking.
