Went there With family when we arrived the outside was not much to talk about. The waitresses were very attentive to our needs. The food was very good and could tell it was home cooked. I would recommend this restaurant.

You don't have many choices in this small town, but Pap's is a good choice if you don't want a Subway sandwich or fast food from Bumpers. The day I was there they had very good lasagna as well as fried chicken and several veggies including fried okra candied carrots and mashed potatoes. Dessert & drink is included for $7.... More

When French Camp folks told us about Pap's Place we figured we'd give it a try. Wow, what a find. It's bare bones decor, but who cares. The food is amazing! The buffet is beyond fresh and scrumptious (and I really don't care for buffets at all), and everything is home cookin', finger lickin' yummy. Salad bar, fried catfish, shrimp,... More

If you are looking for the true southern experience without a lot of tourists and the "extras", this is the place to come. Pros: The food tastes WONDERFUL as if everything is homemade by your grandmother and aunts. The sweet tea is fabulous (a necessity in the Southern States). The owners have a great southern accent which come naturally. No... More

If you like catfish, this is the place to go. There are both filet and whole catfish on the buffet. We love the corn salad, string beans, and turnip greens. They have a large selection and staff keeps the buffet filled up. You have a choice of water, unsweeten and sweet tea. The choices are kept on the table. The... More

You look around to see if Elvis is sitting in the corner due to all of the memorabilia then you gravitate to the buffet line and understand why he is still in the building. Good friendly staff and good choice of food available for your eyes and fulfillment, thank you vey much.

The food is good and the service is amazing. Their sweet tea is top of the line. You can tell they are an Elvis Fan with all the Elvis Memorabilia. Very homely place, the perfect combination!!
