Amazingly good! Our new favorite place in Albert Lea!

This is a Truck Stop! I've eaten at a lot of truck stops, and I've never found one with a restaurant as good, or frankly, as reasonable, as this one. Now, of course, "reasonable", is in the eye of the payer, but considering the good quality of the food we had, I thought it was very decently... read more

It was slow service, once the waitress made it to our table the wait was even longer due to her forgetting to submit our order. she never checked in with us unless we waved her over and the worst part was---they weren't even busy!!! the ladies were too busy talking to each other to serve us, and the food was... We waited at least 30 minutes for our breakfast orders. Worst toast I've ever had. More like lightly grilled Wonder Bread than toast. Dry steak. Barely warm eggs. Great condiments, though--pink Himalayan salt grinder in the wire basket. Friendly waitress. It's got to be a tough job knowing your customers are going to be disgruntled at best when they are... We have visited this place before and had a great burger. Met family prior to family returning to Boston on this visit . We all ordered breakfast and were very disappointed in the value, amount, and the taste. We ordered omelets and they were cold and tasted like plastic fake eggs and cheese as did the sides that came with them.... More

Stopped here for breakfast at 10am on a Saturday. Buffet was going to end at 11am. No waffle batter, no toast, no syrup, the biscuits were so hard I was afraid I would chip a tooth. This was by far the worst meal I have had at a resturant. Paid $27 for 2 adults and a 4 year old. We... More

I ordered breakfast, hot cake combo, which included eggs, bacon and sausage. The scrambled eggs were mushy and tasted like powdered eggs on the buffet. I asked for crispy bacon, one of the two pieces was half cooked and mostly fat. I would have sent it back, but service was not efficient. On positive note, the hot cakes were hot... More

We were staying next door at the Comfort Inn, so this place worked well for us. Viking decor. Our waitress was great, and we were satisfied with our food. Menu sort of like a Denny's -- bit of everything / and they also have a salad bar.

We had driven over 400 miles and stopped at the Comfort Inn in albert Lea, MN. There was a restaurant next store that we could walk to. It looked like a nice place to eat. You could order the buffet or off the menu. We ordered off the menu and could make a trip to the soup and salad bar.... More

This was right across the street from our hotel and they had a nice variety of food including several kinds of fish on the buffet. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the plates they used. We also enjoyed the attached gas station/ convenient store. They had about anything a person would want from shirts to meat. If someone needed a... More
