Up north, true Minnesota style

My family and friends have been coming here for years. Now that I have a child of my own, we still dine here. No fancy bells and whistles. Great food, friendly people. Soups are awesome; as are the burgers and pours from the bar. We always say we are going to try somewhere else but always end up at... read more

I liked their small steak and the salad bar. Bar was extremly busy the day I was there with some cycle friends. Food for everyone was good and they ordered variety. Salad bar was good but could be better stocked. The one knock is that tables very close together and the dining room is a zoo with tables way too... More

I looked online for a place to meet our friends for a nice dinner. We decided this would be a half way point for both couples to drive. So after driving a little over an hour, we arrived. It is not a fancy place but has a bar in front and a nice big dining area in back that was... More

Actually, in smaller than Aitkin town, of GLEN MN. Good and varied menu (like the salad bar). Nice daily specials. Staff is pleasant and helpful whether you are a 'local' of a new visitor

We discovered The Pine Inn last year and return often. The staff is very friendly. The owners are often there keeping things running smoothly. We like the menu and there's always a tasty special to try. If you go and order an entree, consider swapping your potato for the roasted veggies. The are fabulous!

Such great food and good drinks , Bacardi on the rail with a good pour. Better than most fancy resorts on in the area. Glen the owner and his bride make us feel so wellcome. Salad bar has great items as well.

Our meals were very good. The new owner made sure to touch base with us and other customers about their experience and meal. We would definitely return and recommend the Pine Inn.
