Good food, great entertainment

I was visiting a friend near Detroit and we spent sometime in the Great Lakes Crossing Outlet. Then he invited me to try Miyako, a japanese restaurant inside the mall. Although I'd like to try some sashimi, the choice for a "Fillet Mignon & Scallop" was the best! The way the cook prepared the... read more

We went to this place for my college daughter's birthday last night. I love Japanese steakhouses (like Benihana's or Kyoto's - but this place isn't even close! The first course - soup came out and it tasted like warm water with a single slice of mushroom in it. Next course - salad. I think they got a giant pack of... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants! Its about $20 a person if you get something like chicken or steak and it goes up from there. Honestly, you get so much for the price! Soup, salad, noodles, veggies, main dish... The seasoning they use and how its made is to die for! They make the food in front of you... More

This is a typical Japanese grill. Average pricing, good food and entertaining service. Good place for a big group whether friends or co- workers. I think its all in the chef and his ability to entertain that makes a Japanese grill good or better. Some are better - this place is a solid value.

Ridiculous how if you're not served first and are at the other end of the hibachi you're food isn't proportioned right..so you leave hungry..the rice was cooked to fast and served crunchy. Definetly NOT worth the money.

The food & service here was great. There was a great atmosphere, and all of the staff was extremely nice. The food was great & it was fun to watch the chefs prepare it at the table. Would highly recommend. Slightly pricy, but worth it.

We called ahead and asked for 5pm seating, we were finally seated at 5:30. We had tickets for Wicked in Detroit, 35 miles away and we were concerned…..we got out at 6:45. So I would suggest not going if you have time constraints. Family said that it was not as good of show as other JSH they have been to,... More

I cannot recommend this restaurant. It is well below most Japanese Steakhouse standards. Our dinner party of 5 was seated quickly with another couple. Shortly after ordering, the other couple was asked to leave the table because they did not order an entrée. We felt bad for them because it was embarrassing. We finally were served and after the soup... More

Though it isn't cheap, this place is amazing. The food is good, the entertainment is good, the atmosphere is good. 11/10 would recommend
