As a native of Chicago, I'm picky about my pizza. I've lived in St. Louis, which is OK, and Seattle, which only thinks it knows about pizza. This is the best place/chain outside of Chicago I've been to. Period. Look for the alternative crust options, although they are all deep dish. There is a gluten-free crust option, but don't plan... We stopped in at Buddy's prior to a concert at the Palace based on other traveler's rave reviews. It was excellent! Very clean, friendly staff and our food was superb! Our Italian Grandmother made delicious pizza when we were growing up and I've never found one that rivaled hers...until we stopped at Buddy's.

Was in Auburn Hills on business for a week in November 2014. Everyone I spoke to mentioned the same place to try, Buddys Pizza. There is a good reason. It was fantastic! If you're in the area. Do yourself a favor and reserve at least one night to try Buddys Pizza. The atmosphere is a bustling pizzeria full of excitement... More

I can remember eating Buddy's Pizza MANY years ago and it's just as good today as it was then! Since I moved out of the area, it was a real treat coming to town for a special occasion and stopping at Buddy's. Staff was friendly, food was served hot on a timely basis, the place was clean, and the atmosphere... More

I was in Auburn Hills for a conference and found this restaurant to be just what I was hoping to find. The location is convenient, easy to find, and delicious. The staff was friendly, service was great and the food, from the salad, rolls and pizza were impeccable. Also, the draught beer was very tasty. Would recommend this restaurant for... More

Great spot for an informal meal! The pizza is the best I have ever had. The original Detroit Style. Great casual dining for a friendly get together. Great selection of draft beers. The antipast salad is a good complement to the pizza. The food is good every time I'm there and the friendly, casual, atmosphere always makes you feel welcome and... More

Casual family place for a quick and tasty meals. Pizza are light and yummy. The have added a new "anti-oxidant" pizza to the menu which is healthy and good in taste too.

We had a large family gathering and Buddy's was willing to accommodate us. Whats more they were one of only a few restaurants that was open on the evening of 1 January. Their service was very good and they catered to all the needs of a large, diverse group, even making a vegan pizza. I would like to rate them... More

Came here after another dreadful game by the Pistons. Ministrone soup decent but could have been hotter. Greek salad was very good. Square pizza was typical Buddy's. Sanders hot fudge browie could have been even better if the brownie was good. Should have gotten the puff. Prices great though. Service fast.
