Tried Lelli's for the first time last night and it was excellent. The service was first rate and the steak was one of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is nice, a little old school but I liked it, and we were treated very well by everyone from the valet to the manager. All in all I would highly... More

Had dinner here on a Thursday night. The restaurant's decor is a little confused-old school italian leather with christmas lights hanging up. The service was excellent-very attentive and friendly. Had the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. (Even though it was missing the zip sauce.) The pasta dish was well made also-homemade pasta with generous fillings. Caesar... A few days ago my wife and I had a lovely dinner at a venerable Detroit suburban restaurant Called Lelli's. I say venerable because I have been dining at this wonderful institution for over 40 years. The original location was in the heartland of Detroit and and it opened in 1939. First time I had dinner at lelli's it was... More

I really like this classical Italian restaurant. It's a bit old school, but that's the charm of this place. Service is strong, the menu has plenty of good options and the wine list offers good value. Valet parking is even available during the week. We've never been disappointed and will continue to enjoy Lelli's for traditional Italian fare.

Went there with the Groupon which only allowed us to purchase the six course dinner. This is way too much food. Who can or should eat that much food in one sitting? Had to take a lot home. I ordered the lobster which came dry and overcooked. They offered to take it back and bring me something else because they... More

The 6-courses all were wonderful. The filet mignon was superb and cooked flawless. Tight turns getting into seating but once seated DOMINIQUE was the best waitress ever!

The Chateaubriand for 2 is incredible. The whole experience from service to ambiance to food is first class. Romantic, lovely evening with my husband. Each course was better than the last.

I ordered the filet well my wife ordered the sea bass both entrees were very good. We also got the Caesar salad prepared table size which was also excellent. However Lee, our waiter seemed less than enthusiastic about being at work even as we tried to bring some personality out of him. Most of his service was sufficient but for... More

The sign at the door says they've been around 75 years- unfortunately it is hard to maintain excellence. Staff was friendly but kitchen was extremely slow. Appetizers were absolutely embarrassing level of quality. Shrimp looked like it was out of a meijer freezer case. Main entrees (filet, porterhouse) were not even average. Our guests had to wear their coats as... More
