This is a great place to meet someone for a beer, coffee, or lunch. Great reuben as well as clam chowder. No, it's not a trendy place, and you may be able to find something better up town, but if you want to stay off campus, not have to battle a crowd and want friendly service, it's well worth it.

Casey's is away from the campus hub and closer to the medical center. It's located directly across from the Amtrak station. It's a good reliable bar with a decent selection of beer. Sandwiches are good and come with a generous portion of okay fries. Casey's is known for their burgers but I prefer the turkey reuben or the veggie sandwich.... More

I ordered the burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Though a decent burger, it was by no means the best in Ann Arbor. Compared to the more popular bars in town, Casey's is well off the beaten path. Its food -- though solid for a local bar -- is not spectacular. They have a wide selection of beers, so... More

It has been many years since I was last here, and unfortunately the place is more worn and somehow louder than I recall, the prices are up and the food quality isn't. At the waitress' suggestion I ordered an Asian chicken salad which was a deconstructed salad with large pieces of lettuce, cucumber slices, a few pieces of red pepper... More

Packed with locals for great tavern food and a friendly atmosphere. I have been there twice, once with my family and recently alone for a quick dinner at the bar. Clearly a locals favorite hot spot whether out with family, casual date night, or out with friends. My favorite French Dip by far!

Casey's is a typical neighborhood bar with very good food and reasonable prices. It can be noisy but it's always fun.

The old tavern is close to the r r station. As you walk in you are greeted and given a time line. If you have to wait you can order a drink. Once you are seated the earthy servers take great care of you. They all seem to be blunt and frank. Ask what is good and they will delightfully... More

The fish & chips, mexican fare, burgers & many other menu options are very good. The drinks are good & the waitstaff is pleasant but doesn't hover over you. Casey's is a great to meet friends after work, watch the game while eating a burger or grab a quick bite to eat.

Casey's is our "Go To Place" for lunch or dinner. They are known for their burgers, but the salads, sandwiches and specials are great, as well. Service is very timely. The waiters have been there for years and they are all outstanding.

Casey's is a great place to visit for an informal meal with family or friends. The clientele is diverse, and food such as hamburgers, fish and chips, and sandwiches will not disappoint. I particularly like the French fries.
