I did find an item on the menu that was southwest… but they have so many other items that aren't. The cafe is very small and you feel like you are sitting on top of one another and not much privacy. I thought it was good but I guess I was wanting "mexican" a little more than what I tasted.

I have eaten at here multiple times. Everytime the food has been just outstanding. Fresh, delicious and incomparable. Had the best buffalo meat I can remember and also the best butternut squash soup. This place rocks!

I enjoyed my dinner at the Prickly Pear. I split the pork and plantain enchilada with my husband. It came with rice and beans. It was really good. My husband ordered the mushroom bisque. I tried a little and boy was it good. Best mushroom soup ever in my opinion. I had the slaw which is a nice fresh alternative... More

We always eat at this restaurant when in Ann Arbor and it never fails to satisfy. The atmosphere is great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It's a great place for chips and margaritas, or for a family dinner. When we brought kids, the waiters were helpful and accommodating. The menu is varied and creative yet also has basic tacos... Prickly Pear is one of our favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor. The food is alwashrimp and ys awesome and somewhat unique. The shrimp and scallop quesadilla is outstanding! My only complaint is the inside is very small and tight.

A few friends and I ate here, and really enjoyed it! We had fajitas... They were very tasty. We had a mix of chicken, steak and shrimp! The pitchers of margaritas just topped off the dinner! Great food, great drinks, and great times with friends! We will go back soon!

Visited on Friday of the Ann Arbor Art fairs which was a very warm beautiful day and the main street area was packed with hungry shoppers. We have been to the restaurant before but even though an event was taking place still received the same great service and food. We were seated, at our request on the covered patio behind... More

My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. We have never had a bad meal. She frequently gets the sweet potato enchilada's and I prefer the buffalo meat enchilada's. Portion size is good. Quality good. Margarita's good. Outdoor seating good. Great location for strolling eclectic shops nearby.

We eat here every time we come to Ann Arbor. The portions are enormous, the salsa is fresh, and the sauces are innovative. Try the Chicken Sopa and Crab Cake appetizer (ask for it as its not on the menu anymore). We are foodies who have eaten all over the world and this is one of my favorite southwest cafe's... More
