Are the drinks and desserts expensive? Yes. Are they worth every penny? Definitely. This is the place where we bring all our friends and relatives when they come visit, so they can taste the best desserts anywhere, all in a beautiful and cozy place. Always excellent service, too. Living in Ann Arbor, my husband and I often go to La Dolce Vita for dessert and coffee after eating at Gratzi's. It has a nice, relaxing atmosphere and is a nice getaway from all the students crowding the "cheaper" coffeehouses in town. more

It is really quite astounding that this place should be #2 ranked in Ann Arbor. It is a marginal restaurant specializing in overpriced desserts and overpriced drinks. It seems to cator to the kids with too much allowance and the parents visiting said kids on game day. Avoid. more

Our favorite place. Upscale, yet casual and cozy.Relaxing atmosphere: big comfy oversized chairs and sofas and soft background music of old jazz and standards. The Creme Brulee is the best! If you are going just for appetizers and wine or just for late night dessert you will not be let down. Only had had one incident with bad service in... more
