This is just what it says -- a diner -- but it is a cramped diner, and the food is fine, nothing special. Still, we often return. More

For an authentic Ann Arbor experience, visit the Fleetwood Diner on a snowy morning before 8:00 a.m. You will see all kinds of characters--some of them have been there all night, and the foul-mouthed waitress is one of a kind. (To be fair--she is fast and efficient and will bang the food down in front of you ASAP.) The food... More

OK, let's start off by saying that it is impossible to "rate" the Fleetwood using the same scales as other restaurants. Case in point - "Atmosphere". I rated it a 5 because that is really why most people go there, to "experience" the unique Fleetwood atmosphere. However I could have just as easily rated it a 1 because, if it... More

I've been to fleetwood more than seven or eight times....all past midnight ;) not because it's the only one open past midnight that's around where i live, but because i love their hippie hash so so so much. i guess i have bad cravings for hippie hash when i'm not sober. sometimes there can be too many unpleasant drunk people... I was in Ann Arbor for a wedding, looking for the 'local' breakfast diner, not a chain. The Fleetwood Diner is small, old, and a place not to miss! You better get there before the college kids crawl out of bed, because the place gets busy! They have a great breakfast menu, very happy that we found the place! More

I discovered this place before a Michigan game. I was hungry and it was the first place we found. Looks kind of dirty from the outside and in, but the food was good. You really can't screw up breakfast though, I probably wouldn't eat here for any other meal. More

This is an interesting place. It is very small, even for a diner. It is a block back from the main drag in Ann Arbor and has been there since 1949. We ate breakfast there one morning and were delighted. The atmosphere is what you would expect in an old diner, with memorabilia on the walls. The menu was certainly... More

Good for late nights after the bars close down, especially in the summer when you can sit outside (and avoid the smoke inside) More
