Ann Arbor bucketlist

Dominick's is one of those places you have to put on your to do list if you want a sampling of the quirkiness that is Ann Arbor. Set in the middle of the residential area of U of M, Dominick's is full of outdoor picnic bench style seating. You stand in line to order, sometimes that line will be... read more

Took a group of out of town visitors to this traditional campus spot before we went to admire the gorgeous Law Quad. We all found Dominick's very disappointing. The food was not at all appealing or tasty - just greasy and bland. The filling in the sandwiches was hard to find! I cannot recommend this restaurant for the food. Others... More

This is one of those places you go before a game or after a game. It's crowded, but fun atmosphere. Food is ok, we always get pizza. The drinks come in mason jars - there's always a huge beer/sangria line - we usually just get sodas - but the majority seem to do beer & sangria. They do have a... More

I love coming here for their sangria. Their food menu isn't standard bar food, but is fine when you need something to go along with the sangria.

On the outside it looked interesting but once inside we should have turned around. It has a great location being south of the law quad. But food prices were too high for the quality of the food. Ok if you are just looking for BEER. Sandwich came just with a bun. Nothing else....

Just no food, for the rest everything is good here. The atmosphere, the fact you can sit outside in the sun (not a lot of terraces in Ann Arbor!), and the sangria is very nice. In summer even better, when it's not crowded with students and people laugh less when looking at my id.

This bar/restaurant is the perfect way to enjoy an Ann Arbor Spring/Summer. The sangria is divine and I've heard the food is as well. The outdoor garden feel is a great way to enjoy the sunshine after a long cold winter.

Their selection of sandwiches, pasta dishes, etc. is quite impressive. However, due to having tried their perfect eggplant sandwich when eating there the first time, I'm not sure I will ever be able to try out anything else. (My friends seemed happy with their choices, too, so I am convinced that the other food is great, as well.) The sangria... More

If you want 2 liters of booze for $20-28 (can provide enough for about 10 glasses, all in mason jars... a little overpriced, but if you're splitting the bill with a group of 10, it's negligible...), in a very boisterous environment, in a place that looks like a converted frat house, with frequent loudspeaker announcements/calls -- this is your spot.... This is a great place to go in the summer! They have a really nice front and back patio that are great to eat your meal on. The food is also really wonderful and reasonably priced. I'm vegetarian and there are a number of options for me. I love the Italian grilled cheese - it has a delicious blend of... More
