Ah, an outdoor sangria bar. Why are there not more like it?? We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. The back patio has both sun and shaded spots, and at 1:45 the shaded spots were all completely open, and most of the sunny ones were taken. We happily settled in the shade and spent a leisurely 3 hours with our... More

I visited doms for my first time. I was really exited to experience something magical- it was anything but. The staff were unhelpful and rude other than those who worked behind the counter. The drinks were great however the food was something else, perhaps dog food? I expected something a little more high quality for the price. I'd rather eat... More

Go and sit on the front deck, overlooking the Law Quad. Have a beer and a pizza and enjoy the people-watching, the history, and the decent food. Avoid the Sangria. They're famous for it, but it's like a mix of everclear and hawiian punch. The food isn't great. The beer is expensive. But... it's the whole package. Atmosphere, a cool... More

My wife and I along with some friends went here a few years ago for the Sangria which I believe is the best in the metro Detroit area. The pizza was ok but that didn't matter. The Sangria!!! It doesn't seem like there's a lot of alcohol in the Sangria, but trust me, it's there. It sneaks up on you... More

Both their ordinary and slushy sangria's are delicious, and they've got a large menu that looks delicious. It's a great place to meet up with friends, especially when it's warm enough to sit outside on the patio.

This place has been a favorite of students and locals for many decades. The porch and back gardens are great places to drink a pitcher of sangria or frozen strawberry daiquiries, have some pizza and while away the evening. The food's not super, but the atmosphere and local flavor compensate.

Dominick's is a must see mainly because it is one of the most unique dining establishments I have ever been to; and I have been to Dominick's dozens of times. A vast menu selection which is found on various chalkboards as you approach the counter to place your order. Mainly Italian pasta and pizza offerings, but there is a smattering... More

This is an Ann Arbor secret that offers really good food, especially the Italian Sub and wonderful Sangria. Locals and students gather to eat, drink and discuss world problems. Be careful the Sangria tastes yummy but it can put you under the table.
