Good Ole' Irish Pub

This is a great place for a pint of guinness and some traditional Irish food. They have a lot of great beer options that aren't as strong. The corned beef and cabbage is my go-to, but the fish and chips, and the shepherd's pie are great. For dessert you've got to try the bread pudding - I really... read more

Whether you sit inside or outside, it's a great place to go. The food is outstanding. The fisherman's pie is my favorite. Great selection of beer. I wish they still had the smoked salmon appetizer, it was awesome. We go here often throughout the year, including after Michigan games. Always a great time.

Seriously, get the fish and chips and the Shepherds Pie. They are both amazing. I know, that sounds odd, but really order them. The staff there is great, the prices are good, they had live music that was enjoyable and the location is fun!

Unless you are a student, looking to meet other inebriated students, skip this place. I would have given it a single star but it is centrally located. The food is greasy and unappetizing.

Joined a friend for dinner while in town. Food was good but nothing special. Server was excellent. Good beer selection, nice and cold too (unless you're drinking a Guinness of course)

Great outdoor seating directly on Main Street. Typical Irish pub fare with an emphasis on heavy, fried foods. Nice selection of beers on tap and $4 happy hour pints. Apps also 1/2 off for happy hour. We ordered Brie with toast. The cheese was deep fried and wrapped in batter...a little strange and not what we expected. Great place for... More

Ordered the New York Strip steak. It was a very chewy, tough cut of meat. The baked potato was very cold and the asparagus was also cold and over cooked. Service was quite strained and not much in the way of an apology was forthcoming when I had to send my meal back to have it properly heated. Wouldn't recommend.

My group of 13 people went here on the evening of July 29, 2015. I had made reservations for 16 a week earlier. When we got there, they could not find the reservation, but mysteriously, had a reserved area for 14, which they gave us, and it worked out. For a little background, this is a yearly event. My organization... More

After Dinner we were looking to have another drink and of course my husband saw the Irish Pub and we had to check it out. He is a Guinness snob, so every Irish Pub we go to he rates on how good the Guinness is. We sat inside at the bar, but they do have an outside seating area. The... More

The menu consists of the basic Irish fare; Irish stew, shepard's pie and fish & chips along with blackened salmon (that I had) and pork tenderloin (that my husband had). Service was good and the decor was very nice in an Irish pub sort of way. No complaints but neither was there any "wow" factor.
