Grilled cheese, does it get any better than that?

I've had the grilled cheese every time, it's that memorable. It is pricey, $14 but you can select from a wide variety of cheeses. The bread was exceptional and they are legendary for their service and they have lived up to the reputation each time I have been there. The atmosphere is noisy but... read more

Made a stop on our way back to Chicago from Detroit. Very enjoyable atmosphere and excellent service. The food was good, although the portions were a little bit on the skimpy side and the prices were on the high side for breakfast. My toast order that came with the meal was two little crumbs of bread. Enjoyed the stop, but... More

I've lived in Ann Arbor for 16 years. I ate my first Zingerman's Deli sandwich and brownie the very first day that I moved into town and have eaten at the Deli many, many times since. However, Zingerman's Deli and Zingerman's Roadhouse are two separate businesses among several in the Zingerman's family and are run by different people. The Deli... More

Went there with a girlfriend for a birthday brunch. She was able to score reservations -- which helped. The place is hard to find for non-regulars. Or rather easy to find, hard to get to the parking lot, since once you see it, you've likely passed the entrance. It was very crowded and noisy-- definitely not the place for a... More

This is a must-try spot when in Ann Arbor. Very good food and service, and a solid favorite with those who reside here - for good reason. Not a cheap date, but definitely worth the tarriff.

We've never been disappointed at the Roadhouse. The food is excellent and the servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. We've been here dozens of times and always leave "fat & happy!"

This is a nice road house, a bit noisy, but excellent food choices. The food is of very high quality, but a bit overpriced. Service is excellent.

Wine for two by the fireplace in the back. Bourbon near the bar with friends up front. Barbecue on the back porch with business partners (last summer). Fresh bread in a bag from the drive-thru on the way out of the parking lot. Foodie heaven.

I've eaten at the Roadhouse dozens of times, though more because of the convenience (very close to my home) rather than any real desire to eat here. First and foremost - the food is good, crafted with top notch ingredients, and the service is very friendly. However, I think you could say the same for other Ann Arbor restaurants that... More

Great service, but the food is disappointingly inconsistent. Have always had great service, but the food cannot be relied upon to be good all the time. Used to be a go to, but we stopped going about a year ago due to one bad experience after another. When it's good, it's great, but as I said after our bad meals... More
