Large portions, American classics with class

Met a friend from Saline here for lunch. I like this much better than the downtown Ann Arbor location (Deli) as there's table service and it doesn't have the frenetic, crazed atmosphere. Ordered the 1/2 grilled cheese and soup. You choose your cheese from the cheese menu! So many options. I went... read more

Like its sibling (Zingerman's Deli), the food is wonderful and the staff is extremely likable. Great burgers and fries, wonderful drinks. And don't forget to buy bags ($5) of the chicharrones (fried pork rinds). Out of this world. The restaurant is decorated with hundreds of pairs of salt & pepper shakers. Such fun!

This restaurant has a lot of interesting regional American food items, many from other parts of the country, on the menu. My boss and I had a great meal here while in town on a business trip. We shared some poutine (Candian cheese curd and gravy fries) as our appetizer, followed by some delicious Great Lakes walleye and whitefish that... More

Highly overrated--the food is ridiculously rich; the prices are sky-high and the obsequious waitstaff discourage honest reactions to the menu. I won't do there again!

This is my lovely dining partner's favorite place for breakfast, and the staff here knows her by name. We often come in on Sunday mornings and there is usually a waiting list. If you can get there early (first hour they are open) you'll have a better chance of sitting sooner. As a couple, we will often grab a "as... More

Confused tourists landed in Ann Arbor. Stopped at the Deli ,sent here due to miscommunication of what we wanted. Our waitress was most understanding to my disdain. I got the fried chicken & mashed. Hubby & Ishared a side of Mac & cheese-ooo lala! So good. Hubby enjoyed the pulled pork. Our waitress gave us a little goodie bag to... More

I live in South Carolina but frequently visit Ann Arbor. Meat and 3's like this are on every corner in the southeast. It is uncommon to find the quality of food that Zingerman's produces. I love the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese options are great too. I think Zimmerman's may do southern food better than the... More

Wonderfully made food, slow cooked BBQ, homemade breads, locally brewed beers, served by super friendly staff. You will have a great time!

I've eaten at Zingerman's Roadhouse several times. On this occasion we were a party of 6 adult family members. After parking the cars, the first thing we noticed was the enticing barbecue-scented air outside the restaurant. We were promptly seated and a breadbasket (actually a box) of delicious breads was brought to the table. Our choices ranged from BBQ beef... More

Lived up to the Zingerman's reputation for quality, service and generosity. Server was cheery and knowledgeable. Cheese Curds appetizer (Weds special ) WERE special. Fried chicken was rumored to be great and was! (moist, crispy batter and home style). How can basic mashed potatoes and gravy even be so extraordinary? My colleague's half-rack BBQ ribs were tasty and so large... More
