Although the food is good, for the money it should be the best you've ever had. The atmosphere is great but not the first place I would take folks. At $20, the mac and cheese should be astounding, not just good. Very popular though

Another of the Zingerman's businesses in town, the Roadhouse offers very high quality but prices can be ridiculous. $15 for macaroni and cheese? We tend to go here very infrequently because of the cost.

The food can go from outstanding to mediocre. Ask the server what is good for the day. The same is true for service. Several times I have had to go to the desk to ask for my bill or to pay my bill. I think their breakfasts are consistently very good. The beer on tap has a nice balance. Some... More

The Roadhouse has regional American fare, and the food is great. Much of it is produced from scratch by a related Zingerman's company--the Bakehouse, the Creamery, and the farm run by Chef Alex. The service is impeccable, too. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Ann Arbor.

James Beard Award-winning chef regularly turns out fantastic American food. Portions are large to huge. Since I almost always take home half my meal, the prices seem less outrageous. But even if I didn't ... Everything is done with great care and attention to detail. And they will accommodate all your tastes and quirks if at all possible. Some things... More

Zingermanns deli is a great gastrointestinal experience. Known for its quality of food and attention to healthy ingredients makes it a very worthwhile place to eat.

I have been to Zingerman's Roadhouse a couple different times. The brunch is excellent--extra strong delicious coffee combined with pastries or a more hearty breakfast choice. I've also been here in the evening for appetizers and drinks. Though it is expensive, the food is always worth it. There are often waits, but I usually avoid these by sitting at the... More

Zingerman's always serves excellent food but I am always a bit surprised by the prices they command. The soups are wonderful and the innovative sandwiches cannot be beat. They don't take reservations so you should try to go early unless you are willing to put up with a long wait! The Zingerman's name is known all over the world and... More

A great restaurant where it doesn't matter what you order.... you will like it. A slightly quirky menu that is fun to read. Top notch ingredients, served by a smiling helpful staff. At the high end of the price spectrum, but worth it for the experience. Large portions that you can share. Or not. Take a doggy bag and enjoy... More
