Clasic sushi bar

Very respectable place to eat. I was visiting from California, so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. Decor is nice, but some of the seats are worn and need replacing. Everything is very clean with the the fresh fish displayed in the traditional way. I was greeted nicely and the... read more

Our party of 3 enjoyed quick seating, polite service, and a delicious meal pre-theater. No small feat on a Saturday night at 6. We were treated with a gorgeous presentation of tofu skin (inari), asparagus roll, avocado roll, radish, with house salad and miso soup. All accompanied by scented jasmine tea. Sublime.

Helpful and friendly staff, prompt service good menu, GREAT tasting food! I have eaten tons of sushi in tons of cities, and this may be in the top 5--though the prices won't reflect that! Came once solo and once in a group--well-appreciated both times! Detriments: No windows and the restaurant is narrow and not on a storefront.

A friend tried the daily special and was pleased. The salmon bento box lunch was delicious, if a little dry. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch even during 12 noon rush. Hot tea is refilled attentively. Miso soup is on target, and the ginger salad dressing yummy. Go and enjoy!

The sashimi bibimbap is the most delicious salad you'll ever have! So healthy and refreshing! You can get it as an entree or if there are a 3+ of you, splitting it for your salad is nice. Very solid miso. If you liked cooked rolls, the salmon on the beach is great! Reasonable prices and great food! Absolutely some of... More

Consistently decent food, quick service, and convenient. Japanese name but the staff were all speaking Korean. I asked my server why, as the restaurant's entire menu it's Japanese food (miso soup, tonkatsudon, gyoza, etc.). He told me most Japanese restaurants in Michigan are run by Koreans. I'll go back.

Decent sushi, on par with a lot of the sushi available in Ann Arbor. I didn't really find anything extra special about it, but it tasted fresh and pleasant. Convenient if you are in the campus area.

I went to the restaurant today to meet some friends, we had delish bento and udon but the waiter was SO RUDE. She came up to our table after we were done eating to look at the tips and got mad at us because we didn't give exactly 15%. She forced us to give her more tips. She just ruined... More

Went here on a date with my boyfriend. Service was great. Very friendly. We ordered a volcano tuna roll and a Dancing with Wolves roll. We had never tried either. If you like spicy Tuna and want to take the spice up 5 more notches the Volcano roll is for you. The real gem was the Dancing with wolves( I... More
