The sashimi bibimbap is the most delicious salad you'll ever have! So healthy and refreshing! You can get it as an entree or if there are a 3+ of you, splitting it for your salad is nice. Very solid miso. If you liked cooked rolls, the salmon on the beach is great! Reasonable prices and great food! Absolutely some of... More

Consistently decent food, quick service, and convenient. Japanese name but the staff were all speaking Korean. I asked my server why, as the restaurant's entire menu it's Japanese food (miso soup, tonkatsudon, gyoza, etc.). He told me most Japanese restaurants in Michigan are run by Koreans. I'll go back.

Decent sushi, on par with a lot of the sushi available in Ann Arbor. I didn't really find anything extra special about it, but it tasted fresh and pleasant. Convenient if you are in the campus area.

I went to the restaurant today to meet some friends, we had delish bento and udon but the waiter was SO RUDE. She came up to our table after we were done eating to look at the tips and got mad at us because we didn't give exactly 15%. She forced us to give her more tips. She just ruined... More

Went here on a date with my boyfriend. Service was great. Very friendly. We ordered a volcano tuna roll and a Dancing with Wolves roll. We had never tried either. If you like spicy Tuna and want to take the spice up 5 more notches the Volcano roll is for you. The real gem was the Dancing with wolves( I... More

I suppose one can understand the glowing reviews of this sushi establishment by some; not being within 2,000 miles of fresh fish as they are. I, however, should have known better when my daughter (here for a campus visit to Michigan) said she felt like sushi. One of my hard and fast rules is you don't order sushi unless you... More

I have had a most disappointing lunch experience in Totoro. Arrived not knowing of the 20% off on Sunday lunch, which was a nice surprise on the cheque. However, the food itself left too much to be desired. Ordered hand made gyoza, which were much better than regular gyoza. Sushi rolls were one disappointment after another. Spicy tuna was very... I've eaten here many many times and although things have changed here in the past year and a half, the food is still great. Hari always remembered us, even when I moved away to El Paso and then California. She remembered our friends, too. The last two times I went she wasn't there though :-/ Anyway, even when we would...
