We've had the hut and house, the hot and the ready, large health food chain pizza, and small chains who liken their slices to NYC's finest. We've had slices in Chicago, Detroit, and...well, you get it. Anthony's is the very best pizza in Ann Arbor. Prices are more than large scale franchises, but the quality is DELIGHTFUL. I order it... I loved the homemade taste of Anthony's Gourmet Pizza. The first time that I ordered, I had extra cheese w/sundried tomatoes. The second time, I had extra cheese. Though the cheese/sauce could use a little more salt (maybe they use unsalted cheese? - this would be good for diabetics, but not for the average Joe), it's still a place with... More

This was our second try with Anthony's today, and we didn't like it any better than the first one. Several people we know recommended Anthony's to us as "the best est pizza in town!", a statement that I must simply reject based on my experience. Their pizza is a heavy, bland and boring product that lacks the lightness and finesse... More

I was in town only for a couple days staying at a hotel and ordered a pizza from Anthony's to be delivered. Not only was it still steaming hot when it arrived, it was incredibly delicious! You never know what you're going to get when you're choosing a place completely unknown, and I was delighted from the very first bite!... More

Trust me, I am a townie. Didn't move to this university town from somewhere else. I've been a client of Anthony's Gourmet Pizza for about 15 years. Everything IS made from scratch, our family favorite is the Popeye's Deep Dish (spinach, onions, feta) to which we add roasted garlic cloves as an extra item-one medium pizza gives us about 3-4... The Chicago deep dish is amazing with many choices available. The salads fresh and excellent. The staff cranky, so place your order, pick up and run!

I have been eating Anthony's Pizza for over twenty years. Since their humble beginnings in a gas station. It is family owned and run. The "GOURMET" pizza is the most delicious pizza around. Now that I live out of state, I only get to have it when I am in town. Everything is made from scratch and tastes better than... More

Anthony's was recommended to us by friends. We decided to give it a try because it's location on the west side is close to us AND it has an actual parking lot. I ordered 2 large thin crust pizzas (well done) for pick up. They said my order would be ready in 20-25 minutes, and it was. If I was... More

Used to get our pizza from their south-east side location when we lived there. We are thrilled that they chose to open their second location here near our new home. A decadent and impressive pizza every time we order, and an easy reminder of why Ann Arbor is such a great foodie town.
