Nice breakfast

We had a skillet and a breakfast sandwich platter. The skillet was great, lots of food. And the Breakfast sandwich was huge with sourdough, bacon, egg and cheese. Very, very good sandwich. We plan on eating breakfast there every time we are in town.

Had a good brunch here with friends. A little small however the air in it is comfortable. Around Halloween so there were some great decorations!

Cute diner. We were seated quickly and the service was good. The orange juice was amazing. Hash browns were cooked perfectly.

Such a cute spot that seems to be always busy. A patio helps with overflow but rain closed it and didn't reopen after the rain. I called prior to coming and was told usual wait is 15-20 minute. When we got there at noonish the wait time was 20-30 minutes ut we waited 45 minutes or more. The food was... More

We ate her on a stop on a trip through Michigan. both of us had (and enjoyed) breakfast. my sandwich was sort of a BLT with a fried egg on it - very tasty with a really flavorful tomato. I wish the hash browns had been crispier but given how nice our server was, I think they would have made... More

If you want an oldstyle breakfast/luncheonette this is it for you. Portions huge, staff friendly & if you can finally get seated the service good. Food fresh & have some interesting additions to the menu. Don't go at popular hours as you won't get in, which says something in itself.

The place is buzzing, but until now I was lucky with seating. Their pancakes are very nice and huge (full stack = 3, short stack = 2, also single pancakes available) and the best part is that they have real maple syrup on the menu. The eggs and omelet are good, too, the freshly squeezed orange juice is fresh, the... More

Husband and I had breakfast here on a Saturday morning in July. We arrived at around 8:00 and the place was already busy. There is parking to the left of the building, and we were able to find a spot, but it is tight. Cute décor with kitschy wall hangings and adorable curtains. Very warm and welcoming vibe. Our waiter... More

We were in Ann Arbor for about a week and between the various members of our party, ate at Northside Grill on three occasions. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and attentive and friendly wait staff. We thought the food was good. We had omelets one day and the Fried on Rye one day. Both were straightforward and perhaps... More

During our visit with friends in Ann Arbor, our friend brought us to this place for lunch, which was not far from the University of Michigan. After having tried several fast food chains during our US visit, the Northside Grill was a refreshing change. The place was almost full - we were lucky to get a table at all. It... More
