Stumbled on this restaurant unexpectedly around dinner time. The menu looked interesting do we decided to give it a go. We found the food to be different and tasty, though on the (yummy) high fat side. Unexpected extras like an appetizer to share and a salad plus fresh rolls made it excellent value for money.

We went for the delicious sounding desserts and the live classical piano music on a Saturday night. After seeing the dinner menu we were tempted to split an order of the pierogies (we chose 3 sweet cheese and 3 pork - both great) before dessert. The entrees didn't look that appealing to me, but to someone with a taste for... More

We were in Ann Arbor for the day and decided to eat at Amadeus. We did not regret our decision. The ambiance is great - a little like a tea house with lacey curtains and tchotchkes. My husband is vegetarian and we were not disappointed in our selections. Salad sampler was excellent. The potato schneitzel was unique and melted in... More

We have gone to this establishment on two occasions in the past year and each visit has been a good one. We have had guests with us on each occasion and have all ordered something different both times and everyone in our party felt each dish was prepared very well. They have a nice selection of Polish and other European... More

Got engaged here 22 years ago - lovely, cozy, unobtrusive live guitar music and of course, great food

Fortunately we eat at many Ann Arbor restaurants the past 14 years and they are usually very good. They do differ in food options and prices. Amadeus is one of our favorites. A typical eastern European style restaurant and very different from all of the other places on or near Main street. My wife loves the 3 perogies as an... More

Amadeus has all the Polish classics: pierogi (six different kinds), kielbasa, cabbage rolls, and more. The lunch atmosphere is light and airy, while the dinner atmosphere is romantic (with music and candlelight Friday and Saturday nights). Try the dill pickle soup (which resembles a more delicate cream-of-potato in appearance) -- it's light in texture but savory, flavorful and delicious, especially... More

When I first tried the warsaw salad, I thought I was having my gradma's recipe... It made me miss Poland even more. The Polish Poppyseed (which is not on the menu) is my favorite desert, it is very authentic as well! Everything over there is just, amazing! I have almost tried the whole menu :) You will definetely love there!

My wife and youngest daughter and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner experience tonight. The oak furniture and oak floors are set in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The staff was warm, friendly and efficient. Dalma's Viennese cutlet was perfectly seasoned and presented. Mushroom pirogues and farmer's cheese pirogues were great. Try the the Polish plate to sample a... More
