The great taste of European food

Very small place but lovely place. They serve delicious polish, austrian and hungarian food. They have several options of european beers too. The desert menu includes amazing cakes and tasty coffee. Staff is friendly. It was a nice experience having dinner there.

I brought my sister ,and her new husband from Canada to this restaurant because he is Polish and misses his grandmas home cooked meals. My sister and I are from here and we love the food at this restaurant, and her husband said he wasn't going to tell his grandma, but this food was as good as hers. Besides the... More

I had to give my credit card info over the phone and make a deposit to even get a table for two! I think this was do to graduation weekend and they said they were swamped. Then we went in and there were plenty of free tables and several walk-ins who got tables. That was really silly; they were acting... More

This is a Polish restaurant with delicious authentic dishes. The wait staff is helpful and friendly. The decor is very interesting, wit many things from Eastern Europe.

We visited the Amadeus Café this past Saturday with a family group of 8 adults. We called at mid day to ask if they had room for us at 6:30 and they graciously said yes. While you can easily find many restaurants in Ann Arbor that offer the standard steaks, seafood, and Italian dishes, Amadeus may be the only restaurant... More

Treat youself to authenic Hungarian delights. The atmosphere resembles a resturant in the "Old Country". On Friday evening's there is music with requests. Never a disappointment, and we can not get back often enough.

After 7 years in AA, we finally discovered Amadeus. Previously, I had only noticed this place when going to Arbor Brewing Co. or otherwise walking around the area - I always thought it was some fancy uptight place from the outside. When I learned that it was Polish / eastern European food and checked out the menu, we decided to... More

My husband and I had dinner here recently. I love polish food so I was hoping for a really good dinner. The buttermilk dressing for the salad was very good. Unfortunately, the golabek was just ok, a bit undercooked. Wasn't happy to have canned tomatoes on top instead of a good homemade ketchup. The salmon my husband had was overcooked... More

Amadeus was our choice for News Years Eve dinner, and it was a delight. We had not been to the restaurant for several years, the last time being just for desert. We had a slight hiccup in that our server was not feeling well, and he left us waiting for a couple of courses, and was finally relieved by another... More

Amadeus specializes in Eastern European food, especially Hungarian. I thoroughly enjoyed my kielbasa. My wife liked her chicken paprikash with potato pancakes, but not as much as I enjoyed my dinner. Amadeus also offers wonderful desserts. Our waiter was charming, appropriately attentive, and made sure we were done in time to get to our movie.
