Red Hawk offers a classic pub atmosphere at the north end of the University of Michigan diag. Catering to the older (30+) crowd verses students, it makes a great evening with friends to start here for dinner and then stumble through the 72 taps at Ashley's down the street. The menu is updated with pub food staples along with some... More

I have eaten at the Red Hawk for 15 years and have always enjoyed the food but never thought it was a good or even decent deal. The food is tasty (especially the burger and the Reubens) but the high prices leave much to be desired. Fries are a side and cost $3 making your sandwich 12 or 13 bucks.... More

I took a group for lunch and was pleasently surprised. The food was good, though, it was a bit pricey for what you received. I would go back again. There was quite a few options that seemed very good. Overall, Red Hawk was a nice place with good food.

Stopped in before a basketball game. Great looking bar on the inside. Had the pull pork BBQ sandwich. The pork was nice and tender however wasnt a fan of the BBQ sauce. Wish they had more draft selection for beers.

My wife and I went with a group of friends. The service was excellent, and the server handled our various bills with only one mistake, quickly fixed. I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas, one of the weekly specials, but my wife found her Thai salad too spicy. The server gladly exchanged it for some crab cakes, which my wife liked much... More

Went to Ann Arbor with a cousin, first time, knew it was a college town, had no idea what to expect. Pleasantly surprised, charming smaller older town, stubbled upon Red Hawk, place looked charming, and menu looked inviting. We had the catfish tacos, and caprese salad ( actually on a whole wheat bun), we split each lunch in half and... More

Stopped in for dinner after a football game, in large part because it was busy but not ridiculously packed. Good beer list, good bar scene and friendly staff. The food was really good, but strangely for upscale pub type food it is entirely a la carte. Ordering a burger literally gets you a burger on a plate and that's it--if... More

We had a nice dinner during a rainstorm. Great service, warm & cozy, and chicken pot pie hit the spot!

we randomly stopped here on a hot day in need of a drink! we wanted to sit outside and the small patio area looked just right. the drink menu was interesting and varied as was the menu. the nacho plate we shared had handmade chips with lots of toppings. the mojito I had was good, but not worth the $11... We were looking for a dining option on State Street and when the rain started to fall, we opted for the closest option which became the Red Hawk Bar & Grill. {very convenient to MDen shopping}. I wasn't disappointed at all. Since it was what I expected, I only rated it "average", but it may merit another 1/2 star. Two... More
