Rude staff and cramped space. Also, chronically out of a quarter of the items on the menu even before 7pm. When you can get what you settled for, half the time the food is dry and old (reheated?). If you are considering this place, do yourself a favor and go to one of the many great restaurants within a few... More

This was our first time here. Although my wife had take-out at an event a few years back... This was enlightening. No drinks, just water or lemonade. Took a little bit of time to get our order in because we were trying to figure some things out. Once we got our food, it was really just "Ok". I expected more.... More

The only thing that comes to mind is "a big disappointment". This place was recommended, during a visit to the Kellog Eye Center at the University of Michigan, by one of the nurses that worked at the center. All I can surmise is that this girl had never had real good Middle Eastern food. The stuffed grape leaves were the... More

I visited Jerusalem Garden countless times during my time as a student in Ann Arbor. I have a soft spot for kofta sandwiches and this was my favorite place to get them. I always ordered the kofta kebab sandwich and was never disappointed. I also loved the chai, which is much better than your regular syrup-based kind found at Starbucks... More

This was my first time here with my wife. We had the chicken chawarma, hummus, baba ghanoush, and fattoush. The food was pretty good but I wouldn't say it was great. Prices were very reasonable. Atmosphere was okay. Sat in the back room and the noise coming from the kitchen was a bit overpowering. Service was pretty good. Overall -... More

Every year they win this award and every year I support the decision. A great place to eat. During the summer there is outside space to eat. In the middle of downtown. Convenient underground parking and close to the library.

If you're in Ann Arbor on business or pleasure be sure to eat at Jerusalem Garden. The dining space is tight and cozy but that is more than made up for by the good service and tasty food. I had the grape leaves, tabbouleh and falafel. Boy what a treat!

A small place, but great food. We did a take away, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity. Would love to go back in my next trip

Jerusalem Garden has been a breath of fresh air in the Ann Arbor food scene (one that often emphasizes image over quality) for as long as I have lived in the town (15 years). During that time, many competitors have opened up (some serving similar dishes) and none has had the success J.G. deservedly enjoys. The restaurant is so popular... More

I should have known something was wrong when I saw people with "falafel wraps" rather than falafel in pita. Don't people know the purpose of pita (is to have a pocket to fill with your fillings (falafel, hummus, etc)? There are some exceptions (such as a laffa) but otherwise why not just use a tortilla? The service was horrible and... More
