I absolutely love this place!

I love this place in every way. I can't get enough of their lentil soup and falafel. Great staff, great food, what else could anyone ask for?

Located next to a parking ramp area. The place was very crowded for a late weeknight. Lots of people were doing take out. Not many places to sit. Kind of in a college town area. Felt like you were sitting in a crowded and cramped family gathering. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Worth the drive and walk... More

Have been coming to J Garden for years, looking forward to seeing it its new location as well! Fantastic falafel sandwiches, excellent kibbe, freshly grilled chicken dishes, all of it is simply smashing. Beware going late on a Friday or Saturday however, as often they'll run out of the best-sellers!

I have been going to Jerusalem Garden for years now. I found Jerusalem Garden while searching for a place that made Felafel sandwiches. I was impressed by how homemade the sandwiches are. Everything is very fresh and it is evident when you take that first bite. Larger orders are accommodated as well. The Hummus and Tahini is delicious as well... More

I've been on a Middle East food kick lately, found myself in the area, and though I'd give JG a whirl. I was quite disappointed. The meat pie's dough was chewy and, well, doughy (was it not cooked?). The mjaddara's onions were limp, slimy, and oily, not fried crispy like they're supposed to be, and there were too many of... More

I enjoy Mediterranean food and have had the pleasure of dining at some very fine authentic restaurants in Dearborn, MI when I get the mid-eastern taste craving. I am happy to say that I won't have to drive 30 miles to satisfy my taste buds anymore. We have a wonderful gem right here in Ann Arbor with delicious food, great... More

Looking for a great, fast, affordable meal? JG is your go-to place in Ann Arbor. A genuine hole-in-the-wall with fantastic food. Cheap enough to eat at every day. Large portions. Can get very busy, lines are usually out of the door in the summers (call ahead for carry-out or eat at the counter) What's good: Hummus- Perfect with intense flavor.... More

First..its so small, you can hear people next to you breathe! My husband and I took our kids and decided to have Eid dinner there. The place was so small, the food tasted like frozen microwave food. The portions were average. My son got a kifta sandwich that had a whole head of lettuce in it. Will we be returning,... More

If you like middle-eastern food, this is a great stop in the heart of Ann Arbor close to UMich campus. The hummus is to die for, as well as the felafel balls and lamb shawarma. They offer sides with your entree, which is nice for tasting. This place is for the young at heart and is filled mostly with students. I... More

Ok.. they are a little stingy with their baklava, but the food is amazing. I would go as far as saying this is my favorite Arabic food place in all of Michigan and that is a tall order. Their falafals are not greasy, their hummus is delicious. On regret, if their hot sauce. They dont have one. They use Frank's... More
