Good food, huge portions

We got carry-out from the Gourmet Garden. We enjoyed everything: wonton soup, spring rolls, mu shu chicken, pan-fried noodles, shrimp with walnuts. But each main dish was enough or almost enough for two people. Fortunately, we enjoyed the leftovers, too.

This is not Chinese takeout. It's not a buffet. This is the real deal. Prepared to order dishes. Beautifully and artfully garnished. Flavor, presentation are superb. Ingredients are A+. Service is attentive and FAST. You will not find many places like this anywhere. The best part? The prices are REASONABLE and that includes drink prices. Always a "must do" when... More

The food was great. We were a little scared off by the reviews but it was close and we were hungry. It ended up being fantastic. They bring complimentary hot tea and crunchy noodles. We got steamed veggie dumplings which were so good. The garlic eggplant and sesame tofu were amazing. Would totally come back. Great price and huge portions... More

I have only ordered take out from this restaurant and every time I go there the table is full of take out orders. It seems to be a very popular restaurant. The food is very good and the prices are very good as well. It can easily feed a family of 4 for 25$.

This was my first visit to Gourmet Garden and it was for lunch. The place is nice and spacious. Unfortunately the temperature in the restaurant was so cold that I ended up wearing my coat towards the end of my stay. The menu is extensive and the food is very good. The servers are attentive and quick and the food... More

If you are looking for something beyond the classical chow meins and such, this is a great restaurant. The eggplant and scallop based entrees were out of this world. The food arrived piping hot and the eye appeal was very good. The wait staff was attentive and very helpful in the decision making process of which seafood dish to choose... More

First of all, I'm not at all a picky eater nor am I pickey on service, but boy was this place BAD. The bad service started when they tried to cram 8 of us into a table of 5 and became a bit rude to move us to a different table. But anyways they kept walking away during our ordering... More

Best ingredients, best taste and very quality dishes. Huge variety. Not great atmosphere, but worth it for the food. They do a great take-out business too.

Service was very poor. Food came out piecemeal (party of 10). Had to get our own Soy sauce. Plates not cleared by server (did it ourselves). Three of us ordered the same item and got three different portion sizes. Mediocre main. Good cold noodles.

I've eaten here on previous occasions without incident, and the food isn't bad, if a bit overpriced. I ordered the Sesame Beef, which is in their "house specialties" section, a bit more expensive than the other menu sections. A person who dined with me ordered another dish from the same section. Her dish came out on a LARGE plate, with... More
