Took son out for dinner at this fine establishment. As its name implies, meat is king here. The service is very good, solicitous but not hovering. The wine list is impressive. The choices and aromas of red meat might tempt vegans to break ranks

We ate there on one night during a Detroit trip and we were thrilled with the food quality and the service. Martini's were great, wild mushrooms were great, Filet Mignon's were great (had to choose between that and Dover sole ) and mashed potatoes were great. I love Ruth's Chris and this place was definitely a notch above. Service was... More

Took my wife here for her birthday. The food, decor, and service was amazing. We ordered the calamari, cowboy steak, red snapper, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Everything single thing was beyond good and no way possible you can eat everything in one setting. We had enough to take home to fill up on twice. Our waitress Lori was helpful, joyful... More

Finally got to go to the Chop House and it was okay. Service was okay. My husband got the Tuna and I got a obligatory steak. And for $49.95 I expected steak that would melt in my mouth. It did not. Wine was nice and there is a huge selection. The tuna was good. I had a friend tell me,... More

Steaks melt in your mouth. Menu changes frequently. Best lobster bisque I have ever had something not to be missed. The prices are expensive and are all Ala caret.

The wait staff service is quite good and perhaps this is an amazing steak house for people who don't do a lot of travel, but if you're coming in from out of town this is a B grade and slightly overpriced. The steaks are good, cuts plentiful and they're cooked. Their wine list is solid, but the wine steward tried... More

I had a salad made with spinach and a dried fruit that was very tasty, then a medium rare cowboy steak. The steak was great , but not worth $50. I have had just as good $20 steaks in other places. Don't go , unless you don't mind dropping $80 per person.

Old world decor greets you with a new style tablet menu. Traditional chophouse menu selections with a contempory flare. You will not be disappointed, from the extensive wine list, to the deserts. The wait staff is well versed in the menu selections, from preporation, to the ingredients. Each time I go I try a different menu selection. The Lamb is... More

If you are interested in my dining experience at The Chop House, please see my previous review, titled "Best Dinner Ever," or something like that, because it was. This review is going to cover the Cigar Lounge in the basement of The Chop House. If you read my previous review, you'll learn that I had been fantasizing about spending some... More
