Our experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Excellent service, great food and beverage choices. Especially like that you don't feel rushed and can take as long as you'd like. Not the first time visiting and won't be the last.

Excellent menu and great service! Had the lobster bisque which was tasty and creamy, as well as the filet mignon, which was like butter. Have been here before and this restaurant hasn't disappointed yet.
This is one of Ann Arbor's priciest restaurants. They have superb food and outstanding service and don't seem to mind if you dress casually. The menu is definitely American. I only go here when we have a gift card because there are other places with food that is just as good. The electronic menu with photos of the entrees is...

We had the Beef Wellington and Steak Poivre. The food is top quality. The service is not up to par relative to the prices. They try hard but are inexperienced (I think our waiter was 22). We were not comfortable asking questions as they were often vaguely answered. The atmosphere was good. I hate to be too critical but when...

I have ate at the chop house several times now and have never been disappointed. The food is always superb
Meh. If I want a food grilled steak, grilled asparagus, and baked potato, I can make that at home. Point is, everything is "good" but nothing feels like it was expertly prepared by a creative chef. Not worth the price to me.

We planned our annual "Classy Christmas" party at the Chop House this year to reunite several high school friends and family. We rented the room in the basement meant for 40 people. We had no problem filling it. We were told the minimum to get the room for free was "21 people." We all order...

I had an opportunity to visit The Chop House again with a business client. This time the experience and food was significantly improved over the previous visit. The server was attentive and the steaks were cooked as ordered. The prices are still high for the overall experience but at least the meal was good and my guest enjoyed it.
The the menuvative menu tablets helps you to customize your wine list to your liking for the dinner you have ordered. The variety of wine options are just remarkable and exceptional. They aren't many restaurants in Ann Arbor that carry the list of fine wines like The Chop House. Or at least come in and check the menu out even...

The filet mignon was exceptional......about as good as it gets! A side of broccoli is enough for 4 people. They have a house barrel of Woodford Reserve bourbon worth trying. The atmosphere is charming and staff friendly.
