Good food...alot of different sandwiches and sides to choose from. The staff is extremely nice and makes you feel welcome. Will go back next time we're in Ann Arbor. Go Blue!

We drove over an hour to try this deli, and were stuck in Ann Arbor construction traffic another hour. We walked in and the place was empty. My husband is diabetic and needed to take an injection before eating. There are NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Is that even legal? We never even ordered - turned around and left town.

We saw Adam Richman from Man vs. Food on the telly and he stopped by the Maize and Blue, not for a challenge but for a great deli sandwich. I look far and wide for a great rueben sandwich and I ordered what Adam did, the triple play rueben. It was a cold afternoon and the wife and I were... More

Family of 4 visiting Ann Arbor for football game. Wanted to visit Maize N Blue Deli because we heard so much about it. Few pointers that may help you enjoy it more. First, small place with limited seating - plan to visit at an off time it possible or maybe get it to go. Second, try to view menu prior... More

Food was good. Service average. Sandwich was huge. Don't think quality as good as other Deli's I've experienced. Service average. Right near campus so you'd think it would be packed but pretty much empty. Prices very good for quantity and quality.

I don't know what the fuss is about. The prices are better than Zingerman's but the sandwiches are not. The quality is not as good and they simply don't taste as good. We visited on a Friday evening at 6pm and the place was deserted. Service was good and there are lots of sandwiches to choose from. Definitely disappointed. I... More

I don't live in Ann arbor anymore, but when I did I used to always go this place. This place makes the best sandwiches, and even better, they support our great team. Go big blue!

We came in on a Saturday and about had the place to ourselves. Both my husband and myself had the georgia ruben. Turkey, coleslaw, dressing, and cheese. I could not put this sandwich down, and I was sad when it was gone. The wall was neat seeing all the signatures that people have left. We will be back the next... More

we were recently in Ann Arbor for graduation. We did the usual Zingermans thing, great as always, However, we found this place, Maize and Blue, to be closer, easier, less time consuming and well worth it. The sandwhiches were excellent. Each was large, grilled if you want, stuffed, fresh etc. All good. Even the pickles were delicious. Try it out.... More

I am from NYC and have never had corned beef. I know, I know. I always order pastrami. So it was a bit risky to order the "Reuben from Long Island" when I visited Maize and Blue for the 1st time. It was really good. the corned beef was super, super thin and the bread was hearty and crunchy. Everything... More
