We ate right on the street which is pretty cool in Ann Arbor. The service was good. They have quite a large menu so there something for everyone. The food was decent. Definitely going back.

i had heard of the brown jug, so we decided to have lunch here before the saturday football game. it isnt much to look at, but we were pleasantly surprised and happy. you have to fight for a table, but we kept pushing to the back and easily found a table for the 5 of us to share. a guy... More

The food is nothing to write home about but the beer prices are good and the atmosphere is great. My fish and chips dinner was still frozen inside. The pizza was fair at best...but hey you don't to the Jug for the food...you go for the Meechigan memorabilia and cold beer.

We came here before the football game on Saturday to have lunch and a few drinks. Place was packed and we had to secure our own table. Atmosphere was great. Drink specials were very creative, We each had a different sandwich and everyone agreed that they were very good. We will be back for sure.

This place may look like a hole in wall at first site but it actually is not bad! The prices are great. Even if it isn't "happy hour" there is always some sort of special and the regular prices are cheap too. For instance a Captain Morgan with coke is regularly 4.50 which you can't beat. The food is even... More

with less than mediocre food. If you're in town for the game, and looking to immerse yourself in Michigan football lore, or less than 24, and looking for cheap shots and beer, worth checking out. Otherwise not.

The Brown Jug has been around since the mid-1930's and still stands the test of time! Great pub-style food, student atmosphere right off campus. Always worth a stop when in town.

This place has a great location near the heart of Central Campus. It is a quieter setting great for talking with large groups. The food was also surprisingly good and at a great value. The stuffed grape leaves made a fantastic dinner. The crowd is mostly graduate students, but our group of undergrads had a great time.

For a short order restaurant service is very lax. Don't come here is you aren't off for the afternoon. Requires patience and lots of time. Something most of us don't have in abundance. And I really mean abundance.

We came in for late lunch when there were literally only 2 other tables inside filled. The small patio seemed a little busier, but no excuse. Took at least 10 minutes to even take our drink order, and at least another 15 to get the drinks. Sad service for a party of 4 who all knew what we wanted. Once... More
