We were long-time fans of the old-location Seva restaurant. So we were anxious to see how well the concept survived the move to Westgate. Well, the menu items appear to have survived. The quality of food also appears to be the same as in the former venue. We were never enamored of the service at the old location and it... More

The new Seva has easy parking at Westgate Shopping Center. When we visited, however, we sat at a table for more than 15 minutes and were not waited on. We walked out. The new restaurant is spacious like a warehouse with four-sided tables as far as the eye can see. There are none of the cozy wooden nooks, stained-glass windows... More

General Tso’s Cauliflower and the Pad Thai are outstanding. Excellent flavor. Best Pad Thai I've ever had. Very fresh tasting. The General Tso's Cauliflower was absolutely delicious and I actually thought I was eating chicken. All of our meals were excellent (there were 6 of us and not a single complaint!)

While we have no complaints with the meals, the value for the dollar seems a little high. It may be because there seems to be a shortage of highly competitive locations near this restaurant, or because it appeals to the health conscious crowd, or because Ann Arbor has a high income level, but whatever the reason you just want to... First time at the new location; some ambiance was lost but the great food and service remain. We had a delicious lunch with excellent service. I'm not a vegetarian, but I always find something tasty and satisfying. Yes, the old location had more charm, but the food carries the day.

We visited Seva while we were in town for the Art Fair. It was a little sad to have to drive out of town to eat at this old reliable. Seva is now in an old Chinese restaurant at Westgate Shopping Center. The concrete floor and black ceilings left us feeling a little cold compared to the warm wood booths... More

As a longtime Ann Arbor person I was sad to see Seva leave downtown. The Westgate location is ok but I miss all the plants in the old restaurant. Plus this place does not see at all cozy. The food is ok but I predictable. I just feel like Seva has not changed enough with the times. Fortunately the origin... More

We've eaten here several times at the old location and the new- personally I think the new location's ambience is not as charming, but it is WAY easier to park your car. So not bad actually. Food- is great, as a vegetarian it is great to see an entire menu you can choose from. Many of the dishes are tasty... More

I had not been to Seva for some time as the parking in downtown Ann Arbor always seems challenging, so I was pleased to learn that Seva had moved to the Westgate Center. A friend and I went for lunch which turned out to be a pleasant, though not outstanding, experience. Firstly, the new space: It certainly doesn't have the... More

Whenever we drive from Toronto to Chicago, we stop in at Seva (probably first came 8 years ago). This time was different... Not a fan of the new location. It definitely doesn't have the same atmosphere. I know it isn't far from where used to be, but now it's gone from eclectic hip atmosphere to stripmall suburbia...boo Food was good,... More
