Hi ! Arrived at Sabor Latino for a lunch meeting. This place is dark but cozy. A Christmas three was on display yet somehow did not translate into a celebratory vibe . Tacos were $1 a piece,Tuesday special - see web link. http://annarborsabor.com/weekly-specials/ The fish taco had an unpleasant smell, was too flaky, no mushy, but with a nice flavor;... More

Looking for some Mexican/Latin cuisine, other choices were closed. No prior knowledge or recommendations either way, passing through as out of town guests and we enjoy supporting local establishments. We arrived, gave our drink order, but had to ask for chips and salsa. We received one tiny basket and a half full soup cup of salsa. The menu states that... More

Stopped in for lunch at this casual, sit down restaurant on the northern edge of downtown Ann Arbor. Parking is no fun, but a metered spot was available not too far away. Friendly server. A good number of tables sat within the two, connected store-front spaces. Nothing special as far as decor. Maybe I'm a sucker for distinctive meal options,... More

I had lunch at Sabor Latino for the 1st time in 15 years. I know now that I haven't missed much. This is OK "pan-Latin" food. I knew not to judge it against a Mexican restaurant. I enjoyed my Salvadoran Pupusas ($10, with pork al pastor) and had more than I could finish. My friends all had variations of tacos... More

Went on a tuesday night while visiting AA, was a little loud but thats only because of two really rude tables that the restaurant had no control over. We got $1 tacos $2 corona and even a $1 shot of jose quervo. Our sever was really nice (unfortunately I don't remember his name). Great place to bring friends and have... More

This was a nice surprise. We enjoyed a great meal at this downtown Ann Arbor restaurant. My wife had the fajitas and I had the Tres Carnes platter. We seriously could have ordered just one of the dishes and been full. The food was very tasty. The only `downside`was the atmosphere. The decor could use some sprucing up, but we... More

Two of us - 10 Tacos of five different flavors. Where can you get this kind of deal! Food and service are both excellent.

They feature both central and southern foods, very fresh, great salsa, recently renovated to accommodate gringos. Extensive selection, not pretentious.

Sabor Latino offers some interesting choices. Argentinian empanadas, Chorizo-Banana fritters, e.g. along with more standard fare like quesadillas, tacos, tamales (yes! pork and cheese), and fried and dessert plaintain. Large portions are easy to share, there are daily lunch specials, and for the light eater, you can get most things ala carte. So try one tamale for under $3 and... More
