This is a great restaurant: The good food, pleasant ambience, and fine service all contribute to a wonderful dining experience. My husband claims it has THE BEST Eggplant Parmesan, even better than mine, but it is only served at lunch. I like the Pappardelle with Short Ribs, and the Veal Scallopine---delish. And, I LOVE the coffee; they use local company,Great... More

Gratzi's has become an Ann Arbor institution. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. There are nice tables near the front window both upstairs and downstairs. Service is always good, too. It's a great place for a special occasion.

I love their original dish with chicken and polenta. I always get this dish when I go. Each time the chicken is very soft and delicious.

One of the better Italian restaurants in the midwest. They are in an old movie theatre that has been superbly remodeled into a charming restaurant. Make sure you take advantage of their bread with extra virgin olive oil - its great. Their specials usually are worth a try and virtually all of their pasta dishes are delicious. Wine list a... More

some positives: a unique dining room (old movie theater) almost glamorous. Mostly good service. Food ranges from good to ordinary. But food and drink are REALLY expensive -- two plates of vegetable risotto and two glasses of wine, plus tax and tip = $75.00. We used to go there for special occasions, but at this point in Ann Arbor, you... More

A must. This place is so good. The antipasti, the bread, the entrees. The service. The works. Old World. We showed up late. Parking in AA is atrocious. Anyway, they had understandably given our reservation away, but got us seated as quickly as possible. Which gave my wife time to order a special berries and bubbles cocktail. Yummy. At which... More

I often eat at Gratzi and we invite out of town guests. The decor is very appealing, service is top notch, the food is consistently of high quality. Entries are all good. Most often I have steak, which is very nice (while it comes with goat cheese, some of our guests substitute it for other cheese). Desserts are very good,... More

We took a work group of 12 people to Gratzi this week. While the food was delicious, the service was a bit lacking. We made a reservation, but had to wait for two round tables to be cobbled together to seat us. Not the best configuration for a group meal. Our waiter was adequate, but seemed missing when we needed... More

We booked the reservation on Open Table no problem getting in, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. The Electronic Menus were really cool with pictures of the dishes helped in the decision making. I was not sure what to get and spoke with the server about my options and she was very honest, I took her advise... More
