My husband and I met in Ann Arbor so we often return there for anniversaries. The last few times, we have eaten at The Earle. They have a really good menu and excellent food. The wine list is huge, but more fairly priced than most restaurants. There are many choices in the $30 range. more

I can nearly always find something yummy. And I like the atmosphere of the wine bar. Cozy...a little kitschy. But occasionally the kitchen has an off day. I have my favorites and it's a disapointment when they drop the ball on a sauce. A bigger problem is the service. Rarely excellent, usually adequate but sometimes truly dreadful! DOES NO ONE... more

This restaurant is in the basement. OK if u are in college & want to be waited upon by college kids waiting for the term to end. However, if u are beyond that u won't find it here. Mediocre food & service with little atmosphere. more
