Delicious, authentic and reasonably priced!

I am unable to count the number times we have had a dinner or just drinks and appetizers at Isalita. The Mexican street fare is unique and a burst of flavor!. The sashimi tuna tostada and truffle guac is our favorite!!! We also just go in for a vanilla cake tres leches. The staff and bartenders are friendly and courteous.... More

I hosted my friend's surprise birthday dinner here of about 15 people and they were VERY accommodating and friendly. I had called up other restaurants, but Isalita's worked out great. I made a reservation, as it was for a Saturday night, and they get busy on weekends. (+) They have a separate downstairs room, great for a large or private... More

They surpassed expectations in flavor profiles, options, service and value. Our waiter / bartender Jeff really knows his restaurant and drinks. We started to ask menu questions, wanted to share some dishes. He asked if we trusted him (and if there were allergies). We did, best decision ever (though I have done the same at House Of Nan King in... More

I have eaten lunch here before and the food was excellent, full of flavor and fresh. This time the food was lacking in taste and freshness. The fish taco was coated in something and deep fried. It was over fried tough and tasteless. The other four dishes just did not make it. Very disappointed

Went back to Isalita for the first time in a number of months. They've updated the menu and the new changes are generally very positive. All of our food choices were delicious. The guacamole and the three-salsa appetizers were excellent. It is a somewhat loud, hectic atmosphere - but great food and high energy.

This restaurant is a must-visit. The tapas is phenomenal. Great ambience and service. Also brunch on the weekends is excellent. I highly recommend the cornmeal pancakes.

We had the opportunity to enjoy an amazing dinner here the other night. It was restaurant week so we went with the price fixed menu. We were not disappointed. The salsas they bring out for you to nosh on while you wait were fabulous. I had the mahi mahi tacos, fried of course. Very yummy and refreshing. I tried my... More

This noisy restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Especially if you are searching for good Mexican food in Ann Arbor; there are a couple of places with decent standard dishes but for anything adventurous this is as close as it gets in my opinion. Some of the dishes on the menu are excellent, others failures--they all tend to be a... More

This place has wonderful frozen Margaritas and really tasty food. Not your typical Tex Mex cuisine the fusion works really well here. They have a good bar as well two seating levels. The place is really packed on weekends so reservations are absolutely necessary.
