The nice man at Zingerman's said we might enjoy their pizza prior to the Jackson Browne concert. We got there early because they don't take reservations for two. Our waiter knew the menu and gave some great recommendations for cocktails and food. We started with the pickled tomatoes which came with black olive tapenade and ricotta cheese. Amazing. I am... The wood fired pizza is done to perfection. Thin crust, light on the cheese, fantastic toppings....the bolognese sauce over freshly made pasta was fabulous. Can't say enough about the food!

After reading about Mani Osteria in Food and Wine and hearing that Chef Mario Batali raved about his meal there, I convinced my husband that we had to try it on an upcoming trip to Ann Arbor even though it wasn't one of our old haunts. We are so glad that we did. We had an amazing meal and Mani... More

This is at least our 5th trip to Mani's and we have never been disappointed! The pizza is fabulous! It's very close to the pizza we had in Italy. This is the only restaurant I go to in the US to specifically eat pizza. The pizza isn't covered in cheese, just a few thin rounds of mozzarella, which really allows... More

I've dined at Mani 3 times & have never been disappointed in the food. Highly recommend the house-made gnocchi, arugula salad and the creative & delicious pizza. Wait staff is friendly & professional. It's just the noise level that's hard to take if your plan is to enjoy hearing the dinner conversation. Tables are many & close by. All said... More

I eat at Mani about once a month and have never had a bad dish and always have great service. Today was no except--5 people, 2 salads and 2 pizzas. The company AND the food were wonderful. My one problem is that it is noisy, but being able to hear was solved by asking for a table against the wall.... More

With our friends, we allow the person whose birthday it is, to select a restaurant where they would like to celebrate their birthday. Our friend selected Mani Osteria for the Sunday brunch. This was the first time all of us were at this restaurant. It is not your normal menu, you order the menu item that you want, three of... More

and so is the atmosphere! the staff make me feel at home and very welcome. I like to sit at the upstairs bar, in the back of the restaurant, where I can watch the chefs at work and see what's coming out of the kitchen...everything looks delicious! I've liked everything I've eaten there, especially the appetizers...cauliflower: yum. octopus: yum. I... More

Great atmosphere, fantastic service and really, really good food. Get the asparagus on the antipasti menu! The wild mushroom and ham pizza was maybe the best I've ever had. It was even great as cold leftovers the next day. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. I would definitely recommend Mani Osteria and really hope to return on a... More
